I love how Haj knew exactly what would happen after his passing. He was ready for it and took steps to fight back.
It's hard to feel sorry for an OP who allows herself to be used financially. No is a complete sentence. The Haj story is a classic.
I agree, no one held a gun to her. The wedding dress issue was where the no should have come out without hesitation.
Story 1: I would feel bad for OP but she enabled the bridezilla. A jellyfish has more backbone.
Wedding story: OP, you're wrong, very wrong. They planned very, very well to get you and your husband to pay for as much as possible and still wanted more. I'd send them an itemized invoice with a letter saying THIS WAS YOUR GIFT, then block them everywhere.
Will story: If you have any brains at all, violating the terms of a will from someone like Haj is going to have consequences. Some people have to learn the hard way.
Learn to say NO. There is nothing wrong with that. It is part of being an adult. People can ask any request they like. You can say no.

Damn am I glad none of that estate money crap has happened with my family. No one was rich, but no one was whining with their hand out. Before my mother passed we talked and I told her I didn't need her humble inheritance. Told her to give it to the grand kids directly. She was not offended. And that is what she did. My children have told me that they are not living for an inheritance. Spend it use it is what they both said. Barring the catastrophe there will e something left to them.
I’ve heard the veteran story on another channel. He died so soon after because he chose to go out on his own terms and not let the cancer eat him alive.
Don’t blame him in the least on that one.
Wedding Story: OP needs to send each person they "Loaned" money to to pay for this, that & the other a Bill by Signature Required Registered Mail with a note telling each person they have until [date roughly 7 days later] to pay in full or I WILL Sue them in Court for the money.
Story 1 - Block them before any baby showers.....
I take them to small claims court for all the wedding stuff and to always have contracts if somebody asks you for a favor from now on.
3rd Story. I love Haj. What a Character. I love the Idea of the Video Will. I am 71, got serious Orthopaedic problems ( Registered Disabled, 18 surgeries over 25yrs, more to come) and the early stages of Bowel Cancer (regular Colonoscopies, to give me a "Muck Out"). I need to sign a Will. I will leave the entire estate (a few K's) to my 2 kids, and my Fam(?) are getting F_ALL. ...AND the reasons why.
Story 1 - I would of laughed in the brides face when she asked about the wedding gift and then walked out flipping her off.

I would say you have yet to learn the powerful word no. And you have yet to learn. That is more than okay to say no. Even if someone else has a problem with you saying no. So when it comes to doing something you don't want to do paying for something you don't want to pay for. Embrace the beautiful wonderful word no!!!!
2:16 story one, I felt bad for OP right up to the point where she actually paid for the wedding dress. Everything after that is OP digging their own hole, and I refuse to have sympathy for people who support choosing beggars. OP deserves the consequences of her own bad choices.
