The computer story was funny. Yes, old ladies do use the internet. Some of us might even have computer science/information technology experience/degrees😇.
The side by side driveway story probably explains someting near my home. Double wide driveway between two houses with a wrought iron fence down the middle.
There was probably retribution with the Grandmother story. The manager will probably go over security videos to spot which employees didn’t help his mother. You know that some type of heck will follow.
And those employees better have a good justification for their negligence or they deserve the heck they'll get.

I use the word "Hell" in its proper context. It's the place of the damned.

For the pool story, when I noticed he thought he was better than he was, I would have intentionally thrown a couple of games, and then try to goad him into making a couple of bets. No shame in hustling an arrogant fool.
Story 2: Wholesome story. To bad OP didn't actually work there, he was better than the actual employees.
The wholesome "I don't work here" stories always brighten my day 😊
Patrick's great plan reminded me of the night we heard a commotion outside but didn't see anyone & went back to sleep. In the morning, we discovered one of the stone columns on either side of the walkway to the front door -- of course, the one with the mailbox in it -- had been demolished by a car. (We were NOT in a mansion, we were renting & it was how the landlord had built the place.) There was no note & no way to tell who did it.... except for the fresh snow on the ground that had blazingly obvious tire tracks we followed halfway down the block to where they disappeared into a neighbor's garage. We rang the bell and quickly discovered that Junior had "borrowed" his mother's car without permission, went out to get drunk with his buddies, and lost control coming around the corner on his way home -- and immediately decided that if he didn't say anything and just parked normally, no one would ever knnow.
Riiiight.... LOL

Punishment being an option sounds like what I did when I was in trouble in latter grade school or high school. Basically I had just started reading so when I got suspended because of bullying (I was the victim but stupid rules). So I had my video games taken away for like 2 weeks and well I just watched tv or started reading. So the punishment never did anything to me.
PC Story: Maybe nobody needed to get Revenge, but I can almost Guarantee several Employees got reamed for ignoring a Customer who asked for help...
Karen storys is fun for sure, but i love when there is storys like the grandmother comming up to :)

I lent a bike to a friend of mine, nothing fancy or expensive, an old Cannondale. He kept it in the trunk of his car, one day the car was broken into and the bike was stolen. The brake in and theft was reported to the police. I scoured the internet for a few months after to see if I could find it for sale with no luck. Six years later the same friend is walking down a random street and sees the bike locked to a street sign. My friend called the cops who confirmed it was the stolen bike. They said they couldn’t cut the lock but if my friend did it and someone complained, they wouldn’t respond. So years later got the bike back. Though it wasn’t expensive, it had a lot of sentimental value.
The computer story made me smile 👍😁

Side note - PC store. Unless it’s a membership store you’re under ZERO obligation to show your receipt upon exit. Their request is as valid as any one else - even another customer - asking to see your receipt.
No, but refusing can allow them to detain you for probable cause. Also a quick google search says you are wrong if the store is in New York, California, Florida, Illinois and Washington. I don't see why anyone has a problem showing their receipt while leaving a store.
I'm fairly sure that they can't MAKE you show a receipt anywhere in Australia, but then again, they don't HAVE TO allow you into the shop any time in the future, either, so you could wind up the loser if you don't show them.
@@melkiorwiseman5234 For me, I just always open my bag as I approach the exit or hold the receipt so they can see it. Maybe 1 out of 10 times they have a closer look, but mostly they just wave me past.

According to the Dictionary, it means Pleased, Satisfied and Contented...

"Gruntled" is one of those strange, disused words which people don't expect to actually exist. But not every word structured with a negative prefix can be made into a valid word merely by removing the prefix. That's because English is strange. 😄 And I say that as someone who grew up solely speaking English.

now see the second story is a wholesome funny story that can be shared and told in any company men or women or both and I honestly wish there were more stories like that out there which I am pretty sure there are but you just don't hear about them and because we have karens(male and female) and entitled people(male and female, kids and adults) the wholesome funny stories are few and far between and in a lot of these stories you can always tell who has never been punched in the mouth or had their ass whooped bad enough for them to change their attitude and behavior
Security deposit story: Well, at least it didn't turn around and bite you in the butt. She must have done a decent job cleaning and taking care of any small stuff.
Best Buy story: OP, you're a kindhearted soul. Your mother would be proud.
Pool table story: Overall, I wouldn't have played with him and left to find something else to do.
Driveway story: If the kid doesn't listen, I'd consider hiding some upwards pointing green nails in the grass between the driveways.
Bicycle story: Patrick sounds like a complete idiot!
