I was raised on Lego Marvel Superheroes. I would always hop on that and just fly around the city as Iron man or just fight the over world bosses. It was a genuinely amazing game.
you know, theres many games i had that actually made me cry when watching them on youtube again. New super mario bros 2 for example, now NSMB2 was my first ever mario game i loved playing every minute, every memory i had for that game. now i know NSMB2 is considered to be Nintendo's most laziest game but that didnt stop me. i also had animal crossing new leaf and that one DreamWorks game that noone talked about, the 3ds was one of the best consoles i had and played. until i broke it accidentally. it took around 11 years till one of the 3ds games had been brought back on the switch. Luigi's mansion 2, that game was the definition of peak. i also played sonic cd on my phone now and the JP soundtrack actually made me shed a tear on how much video games expanded. tracks such as Quartz Quadrant and Stardust Speedway was my all time favorite tracks. then i got the sega genesis on christmas couple years ago, it was fine for the most part. games such as sonic 1/2, gunstar heros and Dynamite Headdy actually were some good games. then i got myself a DSI XL for christmas the next year and had games such as NSMB, Drawn to life and Drawn to life the next chapter. also can i say real quick that mobile games aged so good back then, we had good games such as the PvZ series (not counting 3) and angry birds.
My favorite childhood games were Wipeout 2, Wipeout Create and Crash, Disney Infinity, and Sonic and Sega All Stars Racing. Good times on my Wii. Still have it in perfect working order! And it's a backwards compatible one too!
Fr I remember playing the demo as a kid and I’d be jumping with my knees all the way just so the characters would jump by 1 inch Def a massive downgrade from the first two
Can confirm, wanted had me locked in fr. But the 1v1 multiplayer was so much fun. When my mom dropped me off at my Aunt’s house for work, I always played it with my cousin and I and we were out here having a blast, I miss the good old days of being a kid
22:50 He didn't die. He's just hibernating next to Dark Gaia, waiting for the moment to wake up again (after a few thousand years pass, of course). So, wven if he's not dead. We won't be seeing him never again (at least, not in the main timeline)
That time I traded a Pokémon with a random kid on the train to vacation is still such a great memory It's a crazy feeling seeing someone play and enjoy the same thing as you for the first time
Yeah I'm probably older than some of y'all but still around the same generation. Here are some of my childhood games that I either rented in blockbuster, borrowed from a friend/neighbor, or gifted from a family member: SNES: • Donkey Kong Country trilogy. I played these and memorized the levels on the loop. The musics are fire that I'll just pause the screen and just listen the songs playing in the background lol • The Lion King & The Jungle Book. These games are hard af but still find myself replaying them trying to pass the levels like it's a rite of passage. It was my Dark Souls lmaoo • Earthworm Jim. Still a hard game and I managed to get to the very last level but kept dying cause my button mashing skills aren't at their prime yet. Look up Buttville the Descent level and you'll see how hard it is to fly down the spikes and you need to constantly button mash to helicopter your way down. It's harder than it looks. • Batman Returns. A classic beat em up and the soundtrack makes me nostalgic for Christmas cause the theme and the tradition to play this game every Christmas whenever I'm off for winter break. • TMNT: Turtles In Time. Another classic beat em up game. It was my Super Smash Bros to bond with the neighbors and friends. Awesome game. • Jurassic Park. It was my first exposure to horror games even though the game isn't really marketed as horror. The elevator scene still freaks me out. Look it up. It gets creepy. • Super Mario World. It was one of my favorite Mario games and I remember never having a Mario game yet so this was a nice collection to have at the time. Sega Genesis: • Sonic The Hedgehog. Played this with a next door neighbor. Hard game but fun. Usually played this whenever I'm off track from school. Nintendo 64: • Conkers Bad Fur Day. Fun game but very raunchy and gross at times. It was like if Adult Swim made a game for kids but it's not lol. I remember playing death match with my neighbor and peeing each other while blasting bullets to other teddy bears and dinosaurs lol. PS1: • Crash Bandicoot. I played these from my aunt's house who likes to call this console a "Nintendo". I just knew she meant this game and I always played it to pass the time whenever I visited. • Croc. A fun platformer that makes me feel like a kid and the excitement of exploring and collecting gems. The music is very childlike too and imaginative. • Fighting Force. A beat em up that my brother and I played. We can pick up any random items to use as weapons to beat the shit out of your enemies. Pretty fun! PS2: • Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2. I played the living shit out of these games. The soundtrack is fire and the gameplay is super fun. Definitely got me into RPGs. The opening songs always tug my heartstrings. • God of War. Definitely one of those matured games I tried playing. I remember having to dial down the volume for the intimate scenes to gather the orbs lol. If you know you know. ;) • Mortal Kombat Armageddon. I always played this with my brother. We always rematch with different characters exploring the combos and finishers. One of the best MK games for this console imo. There's also a secret game called Kombat Karting and I remember playing this every time I heard my mom come home from work so she's not suspecting that I'm playing an M rated game lmaoo. • Legend of Spyro trilogy. These games are underrated. Got a more mature story and great cast to voice act the characters like Elijah Wood and Gary Oldman. It was the first game I realized how powerful the stories can be told if given the right voice actors and writing. Wish this game can be ported to modern consoles and PC. • Madagascar. This was my shit back then and definitely one of those times where the video games were as good as the movies. • King Kong. Another movie video game that was peak back then. The first person parts I had a hard time to play through but I remember always playing the King Kong parts every time my brother played them. • TMNT 2007. Another movie video game that was also fire for me back then. Definitely solidify me being a lifelong fan of the TMNT franchise. • Crash of the Titans. Pretty different compared to the classics from Naughty Dog as this is being developed from a different studio. The way Crash can hijack and control the Titans was fucking awesome and fun. It's also co op so I played this with my brother a lot. • Bionicle Heroes. I came across these thanks to me being obsessed with the Bionicle toys. I found this from Hollywood Videos rental store and fell in love with the game. I remember calling this "Legos FPS" lol. • Lego Star Wars Episodes 1-3 & 4-6. Great games and fun with friends and family. • Lego Indiana Jones. Another fun game. • GTA: San Andreas. I remember my brother figuring out how to set up co op. It's not an easy set up but once he got it, we were messing around and flying our cars that it caught on fire and we had to hop out and splat down the ground lol. • Jak & Daxter trilogy. Those games were peak for Naughty Dog during this era. The world is very imaginative and I remember being immersed into this world that I always explore every level as much as I can. It was my open world game. Wii: • Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2. The music is very ambient and peaceful and melodic. One of the best Mario games and definitely makes me nostalgic now. • Super Smash Bros Brawl. You said it. The story mode was peak and it was my Avengers Infinity War and Endgame lol. • TMNT Smash Up. With the voice actors from the 2003 series (my favorite TMNT) with the character models of the 2007 movie makes this game an all time favorite. It's Smash Bros with TMNT characters. What else can I say lol • Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party. Fun with the family but a little raunchy lol. I remember my mom got mad when I played this with my cousin hahaha PS3: • LittleBigPlanet 1 & 2. THIS game got me super nostalgic. I have a lot of fond memories of this game ranging from the level building to sharing experiences with international friends. Definitely one of a kind. It's also this game that got me pursuing into STEM so yeah lol PSP: • Daxter. This game is pretty fun and I remember always playing this whenever I'm in the car in the backseat during our road trips. The bug fights are fun too and I remember being invested in the different bug collectables I've had. • God of War Chains of Olympus & Ghost of Sparta. Great games but also mature for childhood me lol. Had to wear headphones so my mom doesn't suspect I'm playing a "mature" game lol • Soul Calibur Broken Destiny. I remember kicking ass with this game and customizing my fighter. Pretty fun game and my brother got this game cause Kratos is on the cover. There's more but these are all the games I've played growing up. I do play more into these consoles like Resident Evil and Chrono Trigger, but they're not from my childhood. I got into those games later into my late teens and early 20s. Still exploring some retro games in the PS1 and SNES era. I guess PS2 games are considered retro now? Anyways, yeah these are my childhood favorites. Sorry for the long text lol
I played Kinect adventures as a kid but didn't know what it was called, and years later I thought I'd never know what that game was, but then this video struck me with nostalgia

@@supermarioplushboi85 heavy on all star racing, though I only played the mobile version.
All Stars Racing on the DS was my shit man

He didn't die. He's just hibernating next to Dark Gaia, waiting for the moment to wake up again (after a few thousand years pass, of course). So, wven if he's not dead. We won't be seeing him never again (at least, not in the main timeline)
21:59 THE PULLED THIS IN KIRBY AND THE FORGOTTEN LAND BRUH 😭😭😭
Maybe its reverse cuz this sonic game came out first
9:52 The Kirby Super Star Ultra file select theme. So nostalgic!
That time I traded a Pokémon with a random kid on the train to vacation is still such a great memory

the balls to not mention a single lego game is crazy
Yeah I'm probably older than some of y'all but still around the same generation. Here are some of my childhood games that I either rented in blockbuster, borrowed from a friend/neighbor, or gifted from a family member:
SNES:
• Donkey Kong Country trilogy. I played these and memorized the levels on the loop. The musics are fire that I'll just pause the screen and just listen the songs playing in the background lol
• The Lion King & The Jungle Book. These games are hard af but still find myself replaying them trying to pass the levels like it's a rite of passage. It was my Dark Souls lmaoo
• Earthworm Jim.
Sega Genesis:
• Sonic The Hedgehog. Played this with a next door neighbor. Hard game but fun. Usually played this whenever I'm off track from school.
Nintendo 64:
• Conkers Bad Fur Day. Fun game but very raunchy and gross at times. It was like if Adult Swim made a game for kids but it's not lol. I remember playing death match with my neighbor and peeing each other while blasting bullets to other teddy bears and dinosaurs lol.
PS1:
• Crash Bandicoot.
Pretty fun!
PS2:
• Kingdom Hearts 1 & 2.
If you know you know. ;)
• Mortal Kombat Armageddon.
Wii:
• Super Mario Galaxy 1 & 2.
What else can I say lol
• Rayman Raving Rabbids TV Party. Fun with the family but a little raunchy lol. I remember my mom got mad when I played this with my cousin hahaha
PS3:
• LittleBigPlanet 1 & 2. THIS game got me super nostalgic. I have a lot of fond memories of this game ranging from the level building to sharing experiences with international friends. Definitely one of a kind. It's also this game that got me pursuing into STEM so yeah lol
PSP:
• Daxter.
Had to wear headphones so my mom doesn't suspect I'm playing a "mature" game lol
• Soul Calibur Broken Destiny.
You're childhood was peak. I played a lot of those games including fallout 3, new vegas and the sly cooper series. Still goated.
@@trystanh9809 Started playing Fallout New Vegas on PC a few months ago. Got me really invested
Congrats on 2 million subs 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Chimp?
I played Kinect adventures as a kid but didn't know what it was called, and years later I thought I'd never know what that game was, but then this video struck me with nostalgia
