    I am so glad that I found this workout! I have rheumatoid arthritis in my hands and ankles. Really hard to find a yoga workout that's not hard on your wrists and ankles. I'm so happy I can do yoga again! Thank You!

    This series is a God send. I have neck and upper shoulder pain which had taken me out of yoga for a year. I was very discouraged because I never realized it was "acceptable" to do yoga with out the traditional downward dog, wrist stressing poses. Yes! Will recommend!

    Have to say that I didn't think I'd like this as I do like to flow... but after heavy work with my hands yesterday my wrists were tender this morning and I didn't want to not do any yoga. This was perfect! I'm definitely going to try the other like classes when I have a little more time. Thanks =)

      +Esther McNally Good to hear! It's nice to give the wrists and arms a break sometimes. Yes please do try the other classes. They still "flow" in a sense and some are more challenging than others. Thanks Esther! :)

    Just did this flow and I loved it. It was perfect for me. I have been doing yoga and dance for many years and I am also a runner and surfer and I have been looking for this exact flow and the teaching is so good. So many yoga classes rely on plank, up dog, down dog etc... I can’t stand it. It’s overdone and too many teachers rely on it when they don’t know what else to do or they don’t care. Thank you

    Annars det var mycket fint pass!
    Jag har provat dina andra videon som du spelade utomhus och de är superbra!

    This was my practice today. My elbow is still bothering me and so this was another effective practice that engaged everything without much strain on my elbow joint (I just have to remember not to bear weight on my finger tips for the standing splits by using the strength of my leg and my core-- is that right?). Thank you, Maris. Namaste.

    • @YogaUpload
      @YogaUpload  8 лет назад +2

      +Devi Benedicte I. Paez Absolutely. You can rest you fingertips lightly on the floor and challenge your balance more. If you have yoga blocks (or any items that can "bring the floor closer to you"), you can let your hands relax on the block so you're not straining to reach the floor. Hope that makes sense. :) Thanks for practicing with me again!

    What a great class! Needed to stretch my legs and this class did it. The breathing from person who was video taping your class was quite the distraction though. I found his/her breathing throughout the entire class to be quite annoying. Other then that the class was just what I needed. Namaste.

    • @YogaUpload
      @YogaUpload  5 лет назад +1

      There is no one filming me. It's my breathing that you're hearing. My ujjayi breath is sometimes exaggerated. I have other videos where I was able to edit the sound to make it less noticeable.

    Challenging class, in a good way. I don't know if you'll see this so many years later but I feel standing split very intensely in my hips - up to my lower back - when I keep my hips level. Is that normal? Aside from stretching my hips, is there anything else I should do in or out of this pose? Thanks in advance.

    How is 5:43 hands free? I am looking for a yoga routine where my hands never touch the ground, do you have one?

    • @YogaUpload
      @YogaUpload  7 лет назад

      I see no problem with 5:43. You don't put much weight, if at all, on your hands. I have over a dozen wrist-free and hands-free videos. Please go to the main channel page where all the videos are organized into sections and playlists so people can easily find what' they're looking for. On my channel, wrist-free/hands-free means there is NO downward dog, plank, and chaturanga where you put a lot of weight on your hands and arms. This is also clearly stated in all thumbnails and descriptions. Hope that helps. Thanks.

    I'm wondering would this be safe for me with my degenerative disc's in my neck and lower back?

    • @YogaUpload
      @YogaUpload  9 лет назад

      +Roslyn Barker Hi there! Did your doctor advise you to do specific exercises or stretches? We stretch the hamstrings, hip flexors, and quads in this class. For some people, these stretches help with their low back pain. We don't put any weight on the neck and shoulders in this practice. I would recommend you consult with your doctor first to be safe. Thanks!
