This was a strong class for the WholeHealth Zoom meet up, but there were no tricky poses, so it was rewarding to be able to work hard in a simple flow. We liked it very much and it has set usup for the day! Thank you Maris x

Oh yes! Great challenge in this class, especially with balance/strength combinations. Another example of Maris's excellent teaching. I'll be doing this one till all the wobble's gone! I do think there's room for a little more guidance in the videos, such as reminders to ground through the heel and big toe in high lunge, extend the raised leg from the hip in downward dog, etc. These seemingly small moves make all the difference and there is time to mention them.

So glad I chose this video today! Your verbal cues really make sense and I appreciate the breath reminders as I'm still new to all this. A lot of videos I've been following these past few weeks didn't have the instruction match up with the video, or the instruction was too vague. This video was great! Oh Maris, I absolutely loved this practice! It was a wonderful combination of strength, focus, balance, and flexibility. I usually like to do a 1 hour yoga session, but I didn't have the time this morning for more than 30 min. I searched and found this one, and I'm so glad I was fortunate enough to have found it! You were able to pack so many aspects into 30 min, and I feel that I had a complete yoga session in a shorter amount of time. I will keep this one to use on future days when I am short on time, and want an awesome practice to get my day started. Thank you so much, and Namaste :)

Hi Maris, I love your classes! I have one question though: the sound of the heavy breathing in this video is really distracting me. Is there a reason you added it to the video? Just curious.
@@YogaUpload you get the opposite hand (left hand if you are balancing on your right leg) on the top of your feet and put the right hand on the side of your waist, then bend your right leg. Unfortunately I couldn't find pictures of it by a Google search. I learnt it at Mike Graglia's class at Yoga Source in Palo Alto.
