    Yoga Upload with Maris Aylward - This is another special yoga flow class WITHOUT Downward Facing Dog, Plank, and Chaturanga. I recommend this wrist-free hands-free yoga practice for intermediate and strong beginner students who are familiar with most yoga poses. Even without the usual Vinyasa sequence, we still flow and move with the breath in this 1 hour yoga class. The strong standing series takes you through challenging balancing poses and transitions to strengthen the lower body and enhance mental focus. We end with seated and supine poses and stretches, spend a few minutes in Savasana (but of course, you may stay as long as you like!), and close the practice together.

    Maris, thank you a million times for your variety of hands free yoga videos! I recently had surgery on my wrist due to being bitten by a very cute stray cat who lured me in with his snuggly eyes and your videos are a god send! I actually feel stronger than before my surgery and am more motivated to practice yoga for at least an hour every day. Thank you for your generosity and your guidance!!!

    Thank you for sharing your gift of wrist-free and hands-free yoga sequences. I have been going through elbow and shoulder injuries over the past year. It has been challenging to find creative ways to exercise and to continue my yoga practice. When I found your WF and HF yoga videos, I felt like my prayers had been answered.     Thanks so much for providing videos for yoga without any strain on the shoulders. Ever since I injured my shoulder I've been noticeably less active. But coming across this video made me really hopeful that I can still maintain my life style until the injury is fully recovered.

    This is my physical therapy flow... Anytime I injure myself or just need some recovery time, this is my favorite flow. It's easily modifiable, infinitely gentle, but softly challenging. It's like a prescription :-)❤

    I lift weights between days and like to do wrist free yoga. This hour long class is perfect for my hand resting days. It’s challenging & I actually felt like I worked out. I’d appreciate more of wrist free hour long range classes. Thank you for high quality sessions!

    Hi Maris!
    I am a new subscriber. After doing several of your yoga videos, I felt I really connected with your teaching style. Then this morning, I tried this video, and I have to say that this is one of the most enjoyable practices I've done in quite some time! I loved it. I really love the Vinyasa style, but I sometimes get burned out on chatarangas and down dogs, doing them constantly. They are nice poses, but I think are overdone. I loved being able to really get into and experience the postures you taught here.

These are great classes to do when you need to give your wrists, elbows, and shoulders a break BUT you still want to flow and connect breath with movement. Try it out and let me know what you think!     Dear Marisa! I'm a daily yoga practitioner and last week broke my left arm, which is fixed in cast now. Your beautifully designed flow allows me to continue my practice in a modified way.     Thanks so much for the Hands Free Yoga Videos! I can't do downward dog or planks due to an eye issue. I was so disappointed to think that I wouldn't be able to do a flow class again, so these are perfect! Plus, I feel like i've worked muscles I didn't even know I had!

    Thank you so much. This is the best practice I’ve had since shattering my elbow over two years ago. I am an old yoga teacher and I plan to use some of this. Where are you located? I’d love to come to an in person practice with you.

    thank you, thank you, thank you so much. I have finally found a yoga video that i can do, cause it does not require me to be on my knees. I know it says wrist free but it is pretty much knee free also. I can't kneel on my knees for very long due to pain so this class was wonderful and you are an amazing instructor. i have watched a few different yoga videos in the last week and you are by far my favorite. Do you have any suggestions as to what other videos I should do that would be standing, sitting and lying poses?

      +Abby Cheramie Hi there! Thanks for trying out my videos. I'm glad you found some classes that work for you. You just gave me a NEW video idea - "knee-free" yoga flow classes! I didn't even think about that. Let me start planning for those because other people out there may also have the same experience that you do. Thank you! It might be challenging to find a video of mine that is completely "knee-free" because I almost always include low-lunges. My suggestion is to replace the low-lunges with high-lunges (back knee and heel lifted, balance on the ball of your foot) and half-splits with a pyramid pose so you don't have to put weight on your knees. Hope that helps! :)

    Lovely, except that the runner´s twist does involve putting pressure on the wrists which defeats the purpose of the video- I am not advanced enough to just put my finger tips on the floor! Other than that, it was great. Thanks.
