    I like the snaps you used. I been using Kam snaps, I'm always worried they may pop off...lol thanks for the video!

    I use iron on denim patch behind magnetic snaps. Very stable.

    I can't sew a straight line but enjoy watching this. It would be cute if you embroidered a letter or design on the piece you sew on to the town above the fastener.

      Heck, I cant sew a straight line half the time, the only way to get better is practice, but that is a great idea, I did do one with a monogram of an H for our last name. I just didn't make a video, lol.

    Magnetic snap ist a good idea. Just made something similar, had still to decide on button or velcro. Thanks

    What is the size of the fabric piece, about 5"× 8" ? Thank you for the tutorial.

    Nice idea but it takes too long I like things easier to make myself. I’ll stick with sewing a button on and just folding the hot pad in half. I can make one in five minutes

    How do the snaps hold up with washing?

    • @SewingAlchemy
      @SewingAlchemy  5 лет назад +1

      They hold up perfectly, they don't tarnish or come loose, I have washed mine many times and it still looks just like when I made it.
