I found this idea on another channel, and she referred back to yours for the complete video. That was a few hours ago, and I didn't come directly here. But now your channel showed up in my suggested videos! I usually make dressy tea towels (they look like a little dress), so this is a new idea for me. I'm gonna try this today, and maybe even make a matching hot pad and bowl cozy as a Christmas gift set. Thanks so much for sharing! Also, I think I'll add a ribbon or something to tie it onto the handle, because my towels tend to get jerked off the handle or towel rack otherwise.
@@SewingAlchemy I had to go back and look at my watched videos because I plumb forgot. LOL It's called Allie Sew Crafty, and the video is titled "Testing 5 Free Hanging Towel Sewing Patterns: Which is the Best?" I did try your idea. I didn't do it right, I think, but I have the idea down now, so the next one will turn out much better.
@lubbygirl Thanks, I found it, it was interesting, I felt very nice that someone liked it enough to add it to their top 5. Thank You for sharing. I like the idea of a set like that. You've got my wheels turning, lol
Really love your idea and tutorial!! Easy to understand with the captions provided and clear demonstrations. I want to try and see how it goes as I am on beginner level. Thank you so much for sharing and inspiration❣️
If you send me your email address to itsoundslikeaplan@gmail.com I would be happy to email you the PDF. I shut my website down sorry about the inconvenience.
I think these are so lovely! on the middle part tho i think i may add a strap on each side so that i can slip the back towel thru it and it won't keep falling off of the bar/handle of my stove. If i do i in maching cloth it wouldn't even be noticeable.
I really like your idea of the strap! I was thinking of a snap, but the strap would be nicer, I think. I have a cat that pulls my towels to the floor daily.
I love your idea being reversible but what's to keep the towels from falling off? Maybe a snaps or ties.. I really love the curve version. I will try it and see how it works. Thanks for sharing 👍
i was thinking the same thing. i thought that if i added a strap on both sides the back towel could be pushed through it. and you hang it you just hang it so that the strap falls to the back or use the same fabric and it would hardly be seen at all.
Too bad you didn’t demonstrate making the skinnier better looking holder, bc a square is easy, but trying to figure what to do with the curve is confusing. I’m going to have to try it and tweak it.
Thank You very much I am glad you like it, and Thanks for Subscribing! I think you are actually my 5000th subscriber! It is a big milestone, so thanks for that too!
Thank you so much for sharing your ideas. Definitely going to make a few of these…or more😃👍🏻

I have seen many videos on making hand towels that can hang, but this is definitely my favorite.
Thank you very much!

I have never had any trouble with it falling off, they seem to stay in place really well.

Very nice and clever. Thanks for the tutorial!
Thank you very much!
Where do you purchase your towels. They are so nice and different.
I picked those up at Walmart, but I grab them whenever I see them on sale or if I like them, I have a big ole tote full waiting for some inspiration.
How creative you are. Love this and hope to try it.

It is made to drape over your stove handle, it actually stays in place very well, because of the weight of it.

On the curve version how do u make the longest piece on the bottom when u put the towel in. Mine doesn't look neat. Thank you.
@@dianeGoodman-tq6tg You can try starching it, pinning it before you sew.
Thank you.
I like this
Much easier than the snap or button ones. Gonna do this
