Great tutorial! I have made these from another tutorial a few years ago, but the towels weren’t as cute as yours. And I like your shape for the top way better than what I made. So I very easily downloaded the PDF from the link below. Great for gifts or to teach a young person to sew:) Thank you for including non cricut owners!
Hi Lorrie! My Mom used to make something similar to these! These are so adorable! Making these for each of the holidays is such a perfect idea for gifts etc! You have come up with some of the cutest and most creative sewing/vinyl/Easy Press projects! I have really been enjoying watching your video tutorials, Lorrie! Congratulations again on being a 100,000 subscriber RUclipsr! You are wonderful! Thanks. Sincerely Katz Baugh
Very nice idea....was in a panic about a craft fair I bought in to happening in a week that I had forgotten about...these will make up quick and be different from what I have seen offered there. Where do you get the towels? They seem to be low or no pile....
Thank you for the pattern. I would like to make two suggestions. Why not use the cricket fabric pen to mark the fabric for where you will be putting the snaps? Also, you could score where you fold up at the bottom of the pattern?
I don’t use the fabric marker because you have to wash it to get it out and it’s so dark it shows through on the good side. Also depending on your particular seam allowance it could be too close to the curve. I always say so what works for you.

Evelyn Fabrie depends on the quality of the towel and how much you think it will shrink. As with most sewing projects if it’s Something that is going to be washed prewashing the fabric is never a bad idea
Another awesome tutorial, thank you!! Now to just keep saving my pennies for a Cricut...I’m still stuck in the dark ages with the expression. Would love to have a Cricut “ Magician”...I mean maker!!

My fave! Love watching all your vids😍 #CricutLove
Thank you! So beautiful 😍
ok not sure what I am doing wrong I click on the link above. then I clike (you can get it here) for cricut and nothing comes up I go no where.
What kind of interfacing is appropriate? I'd hate to use one that's not strong enough. Thanks.
I have the interfacing I used linked in the video - but you can use whatever you like. I’d recommend not using one that is considered heavy or firm

Doggie In the photos, photo bomb the pics, so cute.
Too cute! Love this project #Cricutlove
Where did you purchase the towels? Are they tea towels or bar towels?
Love these. I have a crocheted one as well from my grandmother.
Where do I find the cricut file? I made a few bowl cozies after watching your video last night.
Can't find the free pattern in your blog.
Thanks for sharing, just wondering where to purchase the towels. They look large! I have to try this one soon.
Daphne Harnum I have the same question for Lorrie- are they called “tea towels”; or kitchen towels? What?
What size are your snaps?
Where is the link for the pattern please?
You don't show the pattern measurements that you use.....
cannot find the pattern for the topper
Where did you say you ordered your zippers from?
Where can I find the pattern for the towel holder, please?
Design space for cricut
Is it best to wash the towels first?
