Great gift idea. Can also be used in the bathroom. My grand children each had one in my bathroom. They loved washing their hands and having their own towel. it never fell on the floor when they were done!!
That’s amazing! You are so talented!!! Annie Steele, Raya Queen, and any other jealous haters need to get a life which doesn’t involve criticizing others! No one gets points for meanness.
This is really lovely. Always saw them around now I understand exactly how they are used. My kitchen towels are always on the floor so I will be making a few. Great job! And never mind the haters. They lack good sense and taste.
One way of adding color to your kitchen without having so much to do. Metric can easily be translated to inches if you have a metric/inch ruler or measuring tape . A lot of it could be "guess- estimated" 🥰
I think the idea is Angela’s originally but she has another way of sewing it. I like her way of putting it together but yes, she should have acknowledged that the design was Notches
Why is it when one person is disrespectful, it seems to give a whole group of you the need to be. If you don't care for it, or can't be helpful in a kind way, move on.
It would help if the transcripts listed down each step including the measurements. Instead you have to watch, pause, write down what to do, watch, pause, repeat. The measurements are provided in most of it such as with the size of patterned cloth etc, and I have guessed that the other measurements are based on the size of the teatowel you use. Given it was marked out in equal increments.
Try slowing down the speed and use a ruler with inches and metric measurements and c😊invert to the nearest. I think exact measurements is not really crucial here
But why...???? What is this object???? I can't see any practical use for it. The tea towel at the beginning was much more useful and can also live on the oven handle!!!?!?!?! And now I've commented on the obvious clickbait nonsense! 🤦
Perhaps it's because normally a tea towel hanging on an oven handle can fall off whereas with it having the handle section for push n pull to keep it in place, maybe that's why. My granny used to cut tea towels in half and hand towels, then crochet handle things to them so you could have it hanging there to dry your hands on. They were kind of cute but it's probably coz her kitchen always smelt of hot homemade scones biscuits, apple pie etc.
I have actually been looking to buy or looking for easy ways to modify some hand towels into tea towels with either a button or a wrap style like this bc every SINGLE time I barely rub against the handle of any of the cabinets/oven handle that hold the towels they fall on the dirty floor. It is MADDENING!! I've tried applying silicone grip tape to the back of handles to provide something for the towels to grip to but it doesn't last long. So if your towels don't constantly fall off count yourself lucky and just move on!
It's for drying your hands. Some people prefer a towel designated for drying hands only. This design keeps the towel on the handle vs having it always sliding off. For those who are working at the kitchen counter or at the stove, depending on where they have the towel hung, and are always having the towel falling off, this is a great idea! The idea had been around for many years in various forms. Some with crocheted handles with buttons or with fabric sewed onto the towel. This is unique way of holding the towel onto a handle I've not seen before.
@@joyceh2284 maybe for you that works great! Enjoy your creative way to keep a towel in place 😁 Others like to craft and come up with decorative ideas. 😁 ......duh
Not everyone on the planet is lucky to be in the 4% that you belong to. Where you can go to a shop and buy a pack of five for next to nothing! It must be really sad to be so privileged and yet so ignorant of how the rest of the world lives.
Her towel is beautiful, I'm sure it looks better boring premade "tea towels". Since you aren't interested in sewing why bother watching and leave a negative and insecure comment???
What a ridiculous comment! Of course It’s cheaper to buy mass produced, but this only takes a small amount of fabric, is something special and makes a lovely gift.
Easily the prettiest version I have ever seen! Love it! ❤
Whoa! I wasn't sure where you were going with that, and then it came together amazingly! Great design! Can't wait to try this! 👍😁
Great gift idea. Can also be used in the bathroom. My grand children each had one in my bathroom. They loved washing their hands and having their own towel. it never fell on the floor when they were done!!
It's beautiful and so carefully pleated. I like that it doesn't require a button, velcro, or a potholder. My towels are always falling on the floor.
This is a great way to use fabric remnants. I have so many. Thanks for the idea!
Beautiful! I love how you simply show how to make these cute towels. Good job. I will be making a few.
Dish towels slide off our oven bar. Can't wait to try this pattern! Thank you.
I followed this tutorial and they turned out great. Make lovely hand made gifts. Thank you
Inches ???
Great job. Now i can keep my towel in place and wont fall off my stove. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Best tutorial. Simple. measurements included. clear and concise. Well done.

Very clever, but I will need to sit and watch it through it again, very interesting how this was made 👍

More personalized for a gift ! I like the way it hangs .

This is great! Although the tittle is misleading. The video is 5 min long, not the project. 😄
Me encanta 😊
Excelente 🎉
Perfect
Do you by chance have written instructions I am trying to follow your video I just have a hard time remembering .
You can try slowing down the speed and take some notes
Very beautiful thank you so much dear Godbless you.

When you use someone else's design, it would be appropriate to give the credit. That goes to Angela at Notches Stitches.
I mean at Notches Sewing.
Yes! I was just thinking “Isn’t that Angela’s?” The only thing missing is the clear template part. Guess that would have been too obvious.
I was thinking the same thing.
I think the idea is Angela’s originally but she has another way of sewing it. I like her way of putting it together but yes, she should have acknowledged that the design was Notches
Where did you get the towels please?
Why is it when one person is disrespectful, it seems to give a whole group of you the need to be. If you don't care for it, or can't be helpful in a kind way, move on.
So my feeling too.
Where can I find the material at? Is the green part a actual hand towel? And the floral like regular sewing material?
Yes
Olá você fez porta panela com alça?
❤❤❤❤
5 minutes? Really? I batched up making 4 of them and it took MUCH longer than 20 minutes.
First time everything takes longer.
👌
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

👍👏
I need measurements of each mark your making and the folds.

The measurements are on the video. The only ones not stated are when they fold in half
@@pollyanna1112 Polly, simple solution, use your cell phone and snap the video when the measurements are shown 🙄 step by step....
😊👍
Nice dish towel but I used a pattern that run up and down and it turned out upside down. Should explain how to use such pattern.
See Angela’s video on Notches sewing. She exlains it
❤
The video might be 5 minutes, but I can guarantee that a person making this, especially for the first time, would take MUCH longer to actually do it.
No vídeo explica😊
What are the Inch measurements, please?
😂😂
????? What is it?
Why Not!

It’s to wipe your wet hands after washing, not for pot handling or dish wiping
can you please give the measurement in inches.
19.7" x 27.5"
😂😂😂😂
I really wish there was talking along with inches. I’ve watched back multiple times and I’m giving up 🙁

Help yourself to sewing it by hand. It's your privilege. The same measurements and seams will apply to both hand sewing or machine sewing the towel.
@M M 🙈
Very confusing video !!!
Too much work, kitchen towels are so cheap, who has time for this? Not me
Surely wasn’t 5 minutes, I’ve made them in less time and less confusing !!

It's cheaper to go out and buy a pack of 5 actual tea towels.. what a waste of time and resources.
