I remember when I used to dread split squats. I couldn’t make it through with just my body weight and today I crushed 25 pounds and felt like I could have gone heavier. Crazy!!!! Thank you so much Sydney 🎉
crazy how hard we are on ourselves - I tweaked my knee last month and now I feel like every leg workout is hard and that Ive lost progress. Even now as I type this, I feel a bit defeated because I struggled so much through this. BUT Im here. I did it. Doesnt matter how messy it looked. How wombly I was. How many times I had to stop. I did it.😊
You sure as heck did it! And you’ll do again and again because you know your body will thank you and be better for it, no matter how big or small the step, your body will be better. Keep it up!
You got this! I’m 53 and have injured myself about 4 times maybe 5 in the past 4 years of weight training. Never give up! Keep going. Use a brace if u need to. Go lighter on weights or no weight so u don’t cause more injury. Don’t let yourself get down. You’ll heal and be stronger. Reach into your heart. Connect there. Imagine your injury fully healed. Do this morning and evening and watch how quickly you heal. I’m a reiki master who charges people’s intentions daily with reiki. If you want me to add you to my morning prayer let me know. ❤
Also, know when to rest. Missing a few days of lower body workouts, or using just body weight or lighter weights can help along with sleeves or brace isn’t going to undo everything and can help with recovery. My determination to work through the pain, resulted in having surgery for a complete tear in my shoulder. Now, I know when something is just sore or when it is hurt and take the necessary precautions, rehab and rest. I come back healthier and stronger.

I have made so many things a priority over my health and I have suffered as a result. This is the year I committed to making my health number one. It started with switching jobs and now I'm committed to being consistent with my workouts. In all the difficulties of my fitness journey, Sydney has been such a huge constant starting from when I found her during Covid. I'm beyond grateful for her.

Today was so tough for me. I slept horribly, I have been struggling with work, etc. I could have leaned into so many of these excuses but just always know I feel a million times better after I workout with Sydney. The struggle In these workouts benefit me so greatly to take on my challenges in life. I got so emotional at the end of this workout. Thankful for this community + our amazing/consistent trainer!!

It was a struggle just to get through hump day, so I didn't have much to give for the workout. But the energy came to me and by the end of the workout, I felt better. I am proud of myself for showing up, giving what I thought I had, and for finishing it with pride. On National Sibling Day, I am proud of you for what you have done in honor of your brother and proud to call you my trainer! Love you and THANK YOU!
I loved that we didn’t need the heaviest weights to really feel this one. I can’t get below 90 degrees for my squats right now so I’ve added partials and I’m so grateful you ran us through partials last month so I can apply it here 😊
I just wanted to say that today I came in with nothing and just said I’m going to do this. At the end I’m so grateful I pushed and struggled and got in an amazing workout. Thank you Sydney and Dustin for putting together amazing workouts I can do at home

Good Morning Everyone!! Prime Day 8 lower body got me sweating. It was tough for me today because I was tired and this was not my best and I did give it my all. Sydney's encouragements/motivation really helps me push through and gives me courage knowing I did my best no matter if it is a good day or blah day!! Be proud you showed up and give yourself some grace.
Ok. Phew 😅 Got through it. Low energy today. But I kept going despite that. The last exercise I just did body weight. Which honestly wasn’t so bad. I was able to connect with my body and feel the movement/exercise. I’m proud I didn’t give up! Thank you Sydney 😅

My watch notified me that this was a new personal record for calories burned during a functional strength workout! Its a good one! I felt myself improving with each round of the split squat deadlifts. They were tricky at first, but stick with it!! I never regret showing up with Sydney!
I showed up today not motivated but definitely dedicated. Glad I did it and I feel like a BEAST! The music during the heel lifted squats and step ups get me FOCUSED
Oh My Goodness!!! This was definitely challenging. I was shaking through the entire workout, but I kept going making another deposit into my health and fitness. ❤❤❤
Always love a challenge especially if involves using my legs and replaced hip. No doubt there still is a difference between replaced side and non replaced but actually did well. The fact I was hot and sweaty by the end is a testemony to my effort. Thanks Sydney. off to do my swim.. part of the joys of being retired and active, Have a good day
