Dang, Sydney! I did this workout at 5am. It’s now noon and I had to come back to say I’m so sore, in the best way. I feel like I really pushed today and can feel my stronger coming in. I am definitely prioritizing my nutrition today as I’m feeling more hungry and focusing on replenishing my body. Thank you!
Oh man! You know it was a good workout and you gave everything you had when you feel sick to your stomach! Unfortunately I’m behind in the workouts because I am taking care of my 82 year young mom who just had hand surgery. I was beating myself up about that, but I’m here today and I will continue to do what I can while still taking care of my mom ❤. Wooow what a workout!! I used 2 x 17 kg dumbbells on my deadlifts and 30 kg on my regular glute bridges (lighter weight on the abduction) and felt strong! Tomorrow is gonna be painful 😄

I spent my high school years fighting disordered eating, viewing exercise as a punishment and/or using movement exclusively to make my body look a certain (often unrealistic) way. Whew, those elevated squat pulses! I had to stop and breath more than I’d like to admit. On the flip side, I rocked those fire hydrants with a flute band plus 20 lb weights the last set! 💪🏼
