    do i need to calibrate the actuator if I'm only replacing the gaskets . no codes no check engine just a small coolant leak

      If you can install the actuator at the same position- calibration is not necessary.

    I have 2011 Dodge Ram 2500 had a code for turbocharger. Even tho the turbo was pushing up to 30psi normally I do up to 45 psi so I took it to a shop to take care of it. They replaced the whole turbo kit w actuator but now when I’m driving on engine brake let’s say 3rd gear doing 2.5 rpms then engine brake slows it down to 1.75 rpm and I floor the gas pedal it starts smoking like I’m rolling coal and rpm docent go up quickly it goes up very slowly and smokes for about 5-10 seconds then finally takes off I have blocked the EGR and it’s a straighpipe did the shop had to calibrate the turbo before install?

      Have you flashed ECM with proper calibration?

    have quick question for you please can you calibrate a actuator if the vgt shaft or gear on top of the turbo doesn't fully open having a hard time calibrating actuator on job that i'm right now thanks

    Hello , I have a 08 Dodge 6.7 Cummins . engine light on , code p2262 turbo boost pressure not detected. Checked around the area of the turbo and noticed that the yellow solid wire is exposed ( my fault) I installed a catch can and did not secure it. The catch can was rubbing against the wire and actuator and exposed the wire. Would that cause it to malfunction?

      Hello Santos, the yellow wire is CAN-H. If you short it to the ground- communication with an actuator will be lost. Also, if the short circuit lasted for a long time it may damage CAN transceiver.

      @@santosmireles1518 Yes. ECU and actuator have it's own transceiver.

    So my check engine light is saying that it’s my boost control module but I have heard that that isn’t a thing and I’m thinking it’s my turbo actuator. Was wondering if you’ve heard anything about this

      This can be a problem with the actuator and the turbo too. Cummins does not have an accurate diagnosis of this problem. If you can bring your truck to us, we can find a problem without removing the actuator from the turbine.

      Yevgeniy Bakhtin ah man. That’s tough. I’m down in Texas. Is there anything I can do to diagnose the truck myself? The dealership will just overcharge me and probably not even fix the problem.

      @@maddoxduke926 Well, you can take your actuator off, check the turbo and send us your actuator for inspection and possibly rebuild.

      Yes, of course. If your turbo is in good condition- we'll calibrate an actuator with the turbo so you can plug and play.

    I'm confused. I have a 2011 Ram 4500 Cassis Cab. With low power and no exhaust brake. I removed the actuator verified free and complete travel of arm. Ran the calibration test passed. Re-installed and completed calibration, passed. No change still no.exhausr.brake and low power. The arm I placed all the way towards the exhaust side (Pointing to the rear of the truck. Is the correct? This video you say the 2011 ram 2500 needs to be towards the front (pointing towards the compressor) please advise. Thanks.

    Dodge told me they cant calibrate a 2012 actuator who ca. I get to do it
