If you have a bad turbo and need to replace it, you must follow this procedure before you install the turbo actuator. This does REQUIRE using a software like INSITE in order to properly setup and calibrate the actuator FIRST then once that is done you can mount the actuator and continue. If you do not do this you can damage the turbo.
Also, recommend you change the motor oil, install a new oil filter and new air filter. Depending on the cause of failure you might need to test the charge air cooler for any leaks. Авто/Мото
It’s good to replace the air filter as well. Thanks for the video 👍
Great Video!
Hello, I have a M4 that brakes not well and comes with a manual gearbox
Thank you. I always thought it was a major process to calibrate the VGT. As for the old turbo I know it's always recommended to buy new and im a true believer in that. But I know sometimes money can be tight and they can be rebuilt, are rebuilds somewhat good as new one?
Rebuild can be tricky because there are good and bad rebuilds.
The warranty they offer is typically 6 months. If the shop that rebuilds the turbo finds dirty oil or any signs of contaminants the warranty is typically voided.
Try to find a shop that stands behind their work, has been around for a while.
But you are correct, with prices so high rebuilding has become the way to go so save money.
I replaced my turbo actuator along with my VPOD on a 2015 Cascadia with DD15. I calibrated the actuator by measuring the rod length on the old one and applying it to the new one, but do I need to do a relearn or calibration on the VPOD?
No the Vpod is air controlled through the MCM. No calibration is needed. It is plug and play.
Do you sell automatic clutch clutch of cascadia DD15 manufactured 2016
Can you scan a freightliner Cascadia with a Cummins engine using Cummins Insite software?
Yes. Insite allows you to connect to any Cummins engine with the exception of Ram. Ram trucks use a proprietary plug.
