    I just have to say, I love these videos! I don't own a diesel or work on engines (except for my old Allis Chalmers WD) but I find it very interesting. Been following you for a while. Thank you!

Seeing if I could pick your me brain I know it’s happened to a bunch of people. Thanks in advanced!!

    Section 9 is in the Ram service manual at the dealership. Autel, Bosch, snap-on have just duplicated the screens and procedures from the ram service tool.

    You should look for a older Thinkpad T430 laptop and swap a Solide State Drive into it. Those old thinkpads with the Intel Core i5/i7's still work great with 8GB of ram and there is a lot of aftermarket battery support and they are build to last. You could try one, they are 150 dollars max second hand

    One of your subs that lives closer and is in IT ought to be able to hook you up with an ssd on your current laptop. Yod be amazed what an ssd and a reformat will do for an older laptop. Id offer to have you mail it to me but im guessing you wouldnt be able to be without it that long.

    hahaha Warren I did have a laugh, you mentioned the typos in the diagnostic tool help and yet in the comments here you have a typo.....".. bolts witch...??" really is it good at magic?? I think you meant which.... I know I know am just teasing you but I thought was funny. Thank you though for all your vids and like others have said I love your honesty about what you like and do not like about various bits of equipment.

    after performing the alignment procedure with the scan tool , does it matter which position the lever is in when installing the actuator. the glare is hard to see, but does it go towards the exhaust on all the cummins??? have a 2010 6.7

    Do you have to drain the coolant to do this

    Really like to hear how many hours/ miles stuff has on it when you're working on it. And it's always good to hear your opinion about who makes the best this or that. Tools, tractors, trucks or whatever. And that transmission plug you robbed off That 6.0 Ford transmission on the truck you were working on for yourself. Did those people ever come back and make that right with you?

    Hey warren I was thinking about your new service truck......I have a very good ten speed that I removed from my freightliner FL112...it’s a meritor and has only 249,999 on it when I swapped out the c10. For a c12 with overdrive fuller
    I’m installing a 5.9 into Chevy service truck and have a NV five speed...I think if the seven speed you have might be better

  • @KLX1990
    @KLX1990 6 лет назад +1

    on freightliners i have replaced a lot of these. like to the point where i think they should have been recalled. EGR coolers too, for the life of them cummins cannot make a good egr cooler. even brand new 2019's are coming in with leaking coolers

  • @anthonycurcio5388

    Hey got a question maybe you can help me out. Have a 14 Ram Cummins with 183k on it, just threw a. Heck engine light U01010C I believe, well code is turbo actuator lost communication. So my question is, is my turbo about to take a dump or is it possible injustice have to replace actuator? Haven't run diagnostic yet bit trying to get some insight on this. I've called some shops and they tell me to replace turbo etc. I dont want to get taken for a ride especially if it's just the actuator.
    Anything I should look for in regard to the turbo going?
    Any help on this I would appreciate

    put a solid state drive in that laptop.. instead of buying another laptop.. mount the old harddrive in an external case so you have it for backup..

      It'll throw a actuator code , or it'll sound like your exhaust brake is always on.
