    Does the tool support all kind of Holset actuators like Scania (im asking for Europian market)? And the moving parts of the tool included the price?

    Lo tu expones es que no se pueden instalar activadores precalibrados por que no son todas iguales en recorrido buen punto saludos

    You have to calibrate to the turbo. Not with that tool.
    Here is how you really do it.
    Remove the vgt actuator and set the vanes to the full OPEN position. Reinstall the VGT to the turbo
    Send can ID 0x18FFC600 data length 8 bytes 0x00 0x00 0x02 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00
    Let the module self calibrate. Send again but data 0x60 0xFF 0x01 0xFF 0xFF 0xFF 0xFF 0xFF
    If it pulses out then in. You are good to go. If not. Your actuator arm is not moving fully. Check that you can move the arm and the hole in the arm lines up with both the holes in the turbochargers bearing core in open and closed position.
    A device that will allow you to send CAN data, arduino uno and a can shield 50 bucks. Or a raspberry pi if youre a linux user can easily use the built in kernal can protocols.
    Note: 90% of vgt holsets that are "bad" can be snagged from a dealer for cheap. Then you bring it home and take the turbine housing off. Clean it up and reassemble. Re calibrate the vgt actuator and there you are. 5000 dollar turbo for 200 bucks.
    Thank you to all the silly people who roal coal, making no torque, overheating their engines and giving us cheap good turbos they caked up with carbon. :D

    How about a turbo that says it comes with the whole turbo pre-calibrated? I just got a fleece turbo 63 mm vgt , they say it's a drop in .. is that right ?

      Yes, that's right. The actuator should be calibrated with the turbo. After that don't take the actuator off. Otherwise, calibration may be needed again.

      @@maccheese9072 i just bought a new turbo with a actuator supposedly precalibrated but my eb doesn’t work after install of turbo. I took the actuator to calibrate it with an autel ms906bt it fails the Self calibrate/pre alignment

      @@dachamp165 exhuast brake what ended being was that my maf sensor fuse was blown which the power to the turbo actuator runs with the maf sensor circuit so i couldnt program it until i had the fuse replace then i was able to precalibrate my turbo works like a charm i bought it from autozone then returned it twice until I checked fuse

    this company (AVI) advertises they rent the calibration tool for the vgt turbo.... I called them to rent one and the guy who answered the phone with only a dull "hello" said they rent it ONLY IF you purchase the actuator (already high priced) from them.... at a $90 dollar rental fee WITH a $700 dollar deposit, I would think they would be jumping at the chance to rent the calibration tool out...... AND, its my opinion that at the price they offer their "rebuilt" actuators at, if one purchases it from them the use of the calibration tool should be FREE (with a refundable deposit, of course)....
    Our Company will not do business with people who think their stuff is proprietary, as there is always someone more friendly to work with...... and we always leave a comment so others can know what to expect.

      Our service is focused on customers who value the quality of the product and its affordable price. We do not just disassemble and lubricate the actuators, like all other companies (we often get actuators under the warranty of other companies, and we see how they were done). At best, they change defective parts. We not only change but also eliminate factory defects of electronic boards, which are especially numerous in actuators HE300VG. We have also created unique devices for controlling all parameters of the actuator (see our videos) and calibration tools. This is hundreds of hours of work of our programmer and electronics engineer. We are currently working on another unique device. It will fill the gap in the Cummins diagnostics and will allow you to determine the malfunction of the turbo or actuator without removing it from the turbine. So in the field of repair and diagnostics of actuators, we are one of a kind. So if you didn't even hold our product in your hands, how can you judge its quality?

      @@avielectronicscorp.1591 as said by a sales representitive..... you can tell the public ANYTHING you wish, but its what you practice and how you advertise is what makes a difference to us users of the product.... you can claim to do it better than anyone else, but we arent stupid.... most all the companies rebuilding these units are doing their best to eliminate the problems within the units, hence; warranty issues...... the fact that you advertise rentals of your calibrator, but ONLY rent it to those that purchase the actuators from you is enough to turn me away.... yes, I do believe in free enterprize, but i dont believe in leveraging customers to purchase from you.... free enterprise goes both ways.... and for just a little bit more than the cost of your rental fee, one can OWN a program that will calibrate the actuators, and DO SO MUCH MORE for ANY vehicle, as it can unlock features that the manufacturers want to charge you for....
      for those that want to OWN a calibration tool and purchase the actuator from whoever they choose, search for these 2 items... AlfaOBD APP, used with the OBDlink MX+ interface module.... it works great.

      I am developing a twin turbo controller for a drift car. The code will be released and a shield and/or a pi hat will be released for an actually reasonble price. Using a mass produced mainboard cut costs from 1000 per unit to few 100 at most for am entirely working system.
      It will include calibration modes as well as full tunability.
      It may take time to make public but i have already reverse engineered all the communications and am working on software at the moment
