  • Customer states he is having coolant issues, and believes he is having compression problems. Check engine light is on and MIL.
We found the problem and what is causing the check engine light, this was due to someone connecting to the speed sensor cables at the transmission. Also found the expansion tank was defective and needed to be replaced. This is a common problem with aftermarket or defective expansion tanks.
Performed a road test to confirm repairs and that we no longer had issues with then coolant tank.

Sounds like a over lay on the wire
To by pass any potential issues
    Just run new wire

back in a day We used to run a wire to a fuse Up into inside of the truck. So we could break the speed limit on the trucks. That's why that wire is there.

You are correct, we later found out something very similar was done. Nice catch.

Lol..... The only problem with that is, though it doesn't last long it will blow the fuse.
