    Perhaps we should also consider only putting mags in when the bolt is locked back to reduce any possibility of damaging the lips? (even though it shouldn't matter, as they shouldn't crack if you do)

    • @spades77seven
      @spades77seven 2 года назад +2

      this is exactly what i was going to say, there are multiple firearms i've used where i've had to push harder with the bolt forward and a fully loaded mag. This has happened with my AR as well. I get my bog tomorrow so ill be able to test myself but im assuming its probably much easier with a locked bolt.

      Has anyone else attempted to just press the magazine past the pressure the ammo puts on the extractor? Seems like people want to sissy their mag in and then go pissy ass on them if it doesn’t seat. There’s no need to slam the mags, just press them in a tad harder until you see the mag is driven in to its seating position.

    I got eight of the new mags and not one issue with the SP9A1 Gen 2.
    But I never had any issues with the first mags that came out or the metal lipped ones either.
    However...I had mass failure to eject rounds all the time, hence why I tried the metal lipped ones.
    Turns out my problem was the stock bolt spring, it is too heavy.
    An admin in a Facebook Stribog Magazine Issues group said to email Global Ordnance and request the free lighter bolt spring, and I had it in two weeks.
    My Stribog then was unstoppable, not one issue.
    If you have this issue too, get the lighter bolt spring.

      Agreed. Love mine too.. thousands of rounds thru the strait mags with no issues, aside from ammo related problems..i got some super heavy grain subs with a flat nose and it wouldnt feed that bullet design. Other than that, flawless.

I just tested the new curve mags and they ran flat point 147gr Federal flawlessly. You're absolutely right. It brings the gun up to another level and can be trusted with your life.
