Matt, I’m one of your older viewers, and by that I mean I’m old. I am your dad’s age. The years in which your dad and I were raised were simple, and you didn’t really have to worry about your neighbors or people for that matter. But my grandkids, a couple of them in their late teens and early twenties, who have social media pages, have had problems with psychos stalking them. But you being as big a media presence, I can only imagine the hell you and your family have been through. When you bought the abandoned mansion I thought that was a smart move, on a hilltop and all. The main thing is your number one concern is your family, and your family you protect with your life. God’s blessings to you all.

He lost his vet license by trying to perform surgery on his wife. The judge said dog surgery and human surgery aren't the same. He is out on bail and will most likely go to prison. His wife lost the use of one of her legs because of him. That is why she will no longer appear in videos. Neither will he once he is locked up.

As much as I loved seeing Mere and the kids on the channels, I fully understand your decisions and am glad that you guys made the call to put some distance between your family and the internet. Keeping them safe is more important than the entertainment of a bunch of internet denizens, and even more than continuing a passion project.
It's tough to turn your back on something that you've put a lot of work and passion into, but at the end of the day, choosing to protect your family is definitely the right call. We nine hundred and ninety nine normal, reasonable viewers will still be thinking about them and wishing them well even without seeing them in videos 😊

This is the most nuanced and adult view on the negative sides of a social media presence I have seen. You guys' decision is understandable and although your great family dynamics made for wholesome and entertaining videos, you are doing the right thing. Ones family needs to be safe and sometimes that takes sacrifice.

I am so sorry for Mere and for her passion project. As a mom and a wife and married to a person with such a big personality, I can see why she loved her special project. Plus, the products are amazing, I bought them for my teenage daughter who is a dancer and the quality can't be beat. @n10tkey1, I'm sorry. That was not meant as a diss to being a vet. I think it sort of became a joke that Matt preferred to do his side business of Demolition Ranch over being a vet. Of course those of us that watch Vet Ranch miss him over there in spite of the fact that the other doctors are doing just fine.

This is such a dark day for the Demolitia.. I know this was never supposed to be a family channel but that's what it turned into and now that it's going away it's hard not to feel like we're losing a friend. Meres such a good person and I hope she finds happiness and peace going forward.

I discovered your RUclips channel back in 2020 when you starting your Abandoned Mansion series. It was wonderful and it helped me get through a lot of the covid lockdowns. Since then, I have very much enjoyed your videos, but I have to say, in the beginning, I was a bit surprised at how much you put your family out there.
Matt, I got an email reply from you requesting we talk privately on Te-legram. I'm not familiar with that app. A search didn't return anything with that spelling. Also, your reply didn't some up on "this" conversation and that makes me suspicious. There are folks out there that really have no understanding of personal boundaries. As a husband and father, I completely understand the desire to make sure your family feels safe and secure in whatever you do. Your priorities are in the right place.

I remember in one video Lincoln was asleep on your chest and the smile you had was such a nice short clip. Too bad things like that won't be shared anymore but I understand. This dude is my childhood. I remember me and my dad just binge watching your videos and you’ve even got me to drink big red and loves gun because as a kid I looked up to you and found you so cool. I’ve also always wanted to be a veterinarian and younger me watching those vet videos of you helping animals in need made you a much bigger inspiration to me. I hate to see fans and people just blatantly harassing you. I say give Demolition Ranch a break. I hope everything all goes well. I’ll always watch your videos Matt!
