I've trained professional actors to 'master' physical techniques (martial arts) and it is remarkable how fast they learn to emulate the look. They haven't mastered the principles behind the movements that might be applicable to a real fight, but unless you have years of experience to see the difference, you wouldn't be able to tell from their performance. You put a top notch actor through a two month boot camp, they can easily 'look' like they've had two years.

Great video btw! Chris Pratt gets clowned on quite a bit by people, but imo he's such a dedicated and well-rounded actor. Especially love seeing him in more serious roles like The Terminal List.

Because without them, their father (Joe's husband) wouldn't have much to do on the show. And I really like his performance and the dynamic between his girls on the show.
This show reminds me of Homeland, SIX, Fauda & Tom Clancy's: Jack Ryan. So if you've seen and liked any of those action drama shows. And don't get too triggered like many guys seeing females in military roles. Than theres a chance you may like it too.

Without sounding a bit ghey, Chris Pratt is Ryan Reynolds 2.0, slight upgrade and a bit more Bro-ey because we all watched the transition from doughy goofball that we could all see ourselves drinking with to a believable on-screen badass.
Reynolds has always been a dudes, dude as far as actors go, but still had a tinge of fuckboy aura because he started out with his looks, Pratt growing into them makes him seem more relatable, plus he does cool shit like this and takes it seriously. I want Pratt, Reynolds, and Keanu in the next Expendables movie dammit.

This is very much appreciated, and I love when directors bring in real, trained, combat veterans to help get the realism down in movies/ shows like these. The hardest part about watching modern combat/ war movies is being a combat veteran myself who has been on clearing operations. Between unrealistic radio talk all the way up to just bad weapons handling and unrealistic fire fights, it makes it hard to enjoy the movie or show. But when they get it right man it's like almost motivating, like "Fuck yeah! That's what I remember" 😅
