New curved magazines take the Stribog to the next level. I fired an another 90 rds ( 3 more mags ) off camera and zero failures.
MDX:508 in action! Maxim Defense 508 field test.

The 508 absolutely delivers! Flawless operation, zero complaints. I sprinkled in some gear reviews as well. Hit me up in the comments if you’ve got questions. This was the first time firing the MDX 508 as well as my first time doing any type of drills so go easy on me. Stribog SP9A3 update and review of the F5 mfg 50rd drum.

Running like a top now, and the drum gets a “B” for mostly working. Special thanks to Eagle 1 Law Enforcement for letting me use the range for free to make this video. 1396650055/videos/10224701447669035/

No Music...Police Vs Rockets Plus Recklessness
Просмотров 707 тыс.11 лет назад
We turn and chase down a cbr 1000rr and he leads us into reckless driving tickets. Two of us are wearing jackets...also the 1000rr guy. And only the guy with the Gopro on his head and the red CBR 600 were aware of the cop....red escapes completely, the kawi and 1000rr stopped for state police in front, you get a glimpse of them in the vid with music. Couldn't run....
I have both a SP9A1 and and A3. The drum magazine is very hard to seat in the A3, and mostly does not work. It is meant for the A1, and works very well in that one.
I mean it is a small deal, but your right when you pay that kind of money for a firearm and it comes in a cardboard box, and not a hardcase it kinda annoys me. The bigger thing that annoys me about these companies is when you pay $2k+ for a rifle/Ar pistol, and they dont come with some sort of iron sights. That to me is B.S. YOu pay that much for a gun and it does not even come safe to shoot.
Ur can seems a bit loud
Have you done a field strip video of your MDX508? Does it strip like a mil spec AR15? I saw the PDX is a little different.
What holster are you using for the Tac-Ops with the X300u?
SafariLand for the P320 X Full
2:10 the dog starts looking at the gun you didn’t lie 😂
Is it safe to fire a gun around your dog when they don’t have ear protection on? I know dogs can have very sensitive hearing.
It’s up for debate, there’s dudes that have been shooting w/ the dogs for years and they’ll say it’s fine, some say depends on the type of round, other spend $500 on a dark systems helmet and muffs.
How is the mdx holding up?
I was wondering how your curved mags are holding up…. I’ve had 4 of 10 crack on the feed lips, over the pass couple years, if you have experienced this problem, please post a vid of your experience or conditions…. Wtf not putting metal feed lips?
Well just know you ever try and pass me on a double yellow line that close to me I'm not responsible for what happens next
😂 you can buy the whole gun for 1400 you way over spent
Well I get what you’re saying but, ya can’t. You can buy a new 226 that’s similar… the zev I think?, but won’t be the same.
an unpopular opinion slide "cuts" are stupid. unless you got a ported barrel.
Just weight savings.
@@Mondomerve nah man it's like .5 oz at most. In conjunction with making the guns less reliable
Do you have to use a sealer plate to mount the Holosun 507? what screw size did you use the optic? are they the same screws that came with the Holosun red dot?
Do you need a mounting plate for your red dot,
I did not need a mounting plate for the red dot shown in the video.
Hey man, do the irons that come on the pro cut slide give you any sort of cowitness? Like are they usable at all?
No, not with the optic They’re sig’s night sights, so they’re good on their own, but no cowitness with an optic.
Nice build, what shot timer app are you using?
Free shot timer by IA innovative Applications
HAULING ASS!
Future organ donors
you guys are so fuckin dumb for stopping.
I’ve been wondering if these drums would work in my SP9A3. Looks like they do? IMO I probably don’t actually *need* this drum mag but damn if I don’t *want* it. …I’ll probably prioritize getting a red dot, light, ect. but it’s still a fun thing to keep in mind.
My wife loves the straight 😁
A suppressor would be nice
I looked at one of these at my local GS. Pulling the charging handle the system felt a little rough, not smooth like I was expecting. How have you found the QC to be?
Probably just needs some oil, I’ve been through over 1000 rounds now. Brass, steel, suppressed, …jams are rare and always appear to be cartridge related. This is a weapon where a $2K plus price point makes sense. Nothing has broken and I would take this in an end game scenario. The question is, whether or not that new Sig spear LT in 7.62x39 is better…
Pull up my instagram, there’s some vids on there of the gun. #mondomerve
This footage shows exactly what goon ass riders look like, can’t even let out the clutch gently let alone make a damn turn, ur the percentage that crashes while I do 180mph every weekend and NEVER crash
And h pull over for cops like a bunch of teenagers driving their moms car, ur on a screaming 17,000rpm bike ready to annihilate every backroad in ur state
Won’t work with the a3 only for the a1 gen 2
Lol bike chains and sprockets messing up with a flat tire. hmmmmm pffffffft. =0
I’m looking at the 508c in 300 blackout
Unless you truly need it to be that compact, get the 510. The 508 is barely long enough for a comfortable grip/stance. And you get the benefit of better ballistics. If your shorter it might be perfect, but I’m 6’2” and could use the extra 2” of length for proper handling.
@@Mondomerve I’m 5’9” lol I thought about the 510 but I figured a home defense would work in the 508. I did do some research between the barrel lengths. They did say the sweet spot was between 9-10” barrels.
@@FuckRUclips069I just got the 508 8.5 inch blackout by Maxim an it’s perfect for home defense an truck gun I’m 6’2 and my gun club has a lot of military guys an they said 8.5-10.5 is perfect for blackout specially in Maxim I feel if I need more barrel I’ll use my LWRC 16inch with all the bells and whistles but the maxim 8.5 inch black out is a fun SBR
@@hoodsta_Pizzo much appreciated. I’m gonna get one by this year or next. I’m waiting for this mess with the SBRs to pass over lol
What holster do you have

@@Mondomerve did it need any modifications?
I have an F5 drum for my mp5, and it’s a giant POS. And their customer service is nonexistent. Those guys are crooks, don’t buy anything from those ass clowns!
why would you stop?
With the 507c you had to use a aftermarket mounting plate for the slide yes? What one did you use?
Nope, I pulled it out of the box and screwed it onto the gun…
Nice setup. Been thinking bout the drum mag
Where can I find that fore grip you have?
Strike industries Link Curve grip I believe.
Wait, that’s not right, I think it’s a UTG, can’t remember the model.
IM REALLY HOPING YOU CAN HELP ME. I got a P226 with the OPTIC READY PRO SLIDE. I need to mount my hollow sun on there but i cant find the right screws. Do you know what screws mount on there?
I think it would depend on the model of Hollison that you got. I purchased the one with the ACSS reticle and it was a direct fit.
@@Mondomerve i got the 507c x2. But the footprint on the slide is for RMR and nothing will work
lol cod brought me here :P
Not hating keep it up … just a suggestion… think about switching hands or going to the other side of the cover so your body stays behind it and you still can brace your hand in a “C” against the tree… but love the vid keep it up
You should bring the stock up to your cheek, not the other way around. Your head is alost sideways when you shoot. 3:30
Not much of a cheek weld on this weapon, I added a significant optic riser that helps ergonomics for shooting stance, didn’t realize I was doing that before but that and the overall length of this firearm are drawbacks in terms of shooter comfort, I can barely use a C-clamp grip. If I could do it over I’d get the 510.
Did you get theRMR adapter plate from. Sig ?
Beautiful rifle !! Is that the 10.3 inch ?
Some guy at the range traded me his curved mags for my straights Love the gun Got a Romeo 5 and a magnifier on mine works great and the backup sights are visible through the riser
The slide stop is even smaller on 229 RXP. I don’t mind the decocker. Only issue is finding a good holster with my light. I have a foxtrot2 light and am STILL looking for a good holster with RXP 229
Did the mags get easier to seat on a closed bolt once the springs broke in a bit for you? I've read on FB that this happens, but can't find anyone on youtube who mentions it (but most are doing initial reviews like this one). Thanks!
I think that’s accurate, I’ve been back to the range several times since this video and I can’t recall noticing complications with seating the magazines. So yes, they “break in”.
@@Mondomerve Thanks. That's what I'd read, but wanted someone to confirm it.
I'm with ya, guns are ment to be metal not plastic. Have a dozen classic line sigs. My main edc I have the 226 rx I put the Steiner MPS on. and the 227 tacops I had milled, put the Romeo 2 on. I carry both, the slide cuts to me are a huge functional liability. You have holes to allow junk in mess up the reliability. It's no longer a GTW pistol. If you carry daily you'll find fully enclosed emitter is the way to go. If you want the best upgrade for the trigger. SIG armorer's super strut. Grey guns ELS dual adjustable trigger. Armory craft smooth action SRT kit. I can not relay how amazing that trigger is and WAY shorter reset yet compared to SIG stock SRT. All in all $250 in parts and 20 min in install. The SIG guy has videos on YT.
Agree, the ported slide makes me pause to consider the potential for something to get down in there. Open optic could also stifle your op, very true. Might get me killed one day.
What kind of trigger is that
Cmon what you made out of noodles? It's not that hard to get the magazine in...be a man🤦♂️
This was the second drum, first one got all gnarled up …from slamming it into the mag well…. Was going a little easy on it this time around.
@@Mondomerve ohhh....ignore my ignorance
Hey how do the P226 magwell grips compare to the hogue magwell grips? Is there a difference between circumference? Does the Sig magwell grips have that goofy thumb curve like the combat grips have?
Yours comes Mines runs 🤦♂️
I just got mine and the screws on the plate that needs to be removed to add the optic are stuck in there so bad that i can't get it off without stripping the threads. So annoyed right now
Your dog is attracted to the sound of guns? Cool.
Styer Aug Is magazines have been Made this way since it's conception The lips are very tough and unless you drop the magazine correctly on them you should not have any issues
