Brother, I found that after a couple mags maybe three. Mine hasn't had a failure. I talked to them and they said the spring is super tight in them so it has to be broken in. They did say to load load it and leave it loaded all the time and that will soften the spring. Then adding 50 and malfunctions will not be a issue. So I did that and it now accepts 50 and has had no failures. Hope that helps.
I have both a SP9A1 and and A3. The drum magazine is very hard to seat in the A3, and mostly does not work. It is meant for the A1, and works very well in that one.
Nice vid ... Twist the drum wheel while inserting the magazine it will lock in much easier
I have 2 gen 2 A1's.. only had jams with hollow points. These lil stribogs are great. My F5 drum has been 100% with fmj's..
I've got the f5 drum for my Scorpion and it has been flawless. Was thinking about getting another for my bog but the A3 tactical lower might be a better investment.

I have a stribog sp9a1 gen 2 & that mf is a trophy I love that mf DONT HAVE ANY PROBLEMS AT ALL it’ll ride the whole f5 drum all they way through 💪🏿💯

The very 1st problem I had with the mag was it wouldn't seat. Then the bolt wouldn't release. Never shot one round from it ! The regular mags are fine. No problems with them.
What can is that?
I’ve been wondering if these drums would work in my SP9A3. Looks like they do? IMO I probably don’t actually *need* this drum mag but damn if I don’t *want* it.
…I’ll probably prioritize getting a red dot, light, ect. but it’s still a fun thing to keep in mind.
How do you like that angled grip? I thought it looked pretty sick but might be a bit uncomfortable. Just grabbed myself a SP9A1 gen 2 the other day, a holosun HE-510c(green dot), and 350 rounds but now it's the waiting game and im filling my plate full of videos and threads on the gun. Lol
Be aware the space for the foregrip is limited, any vertical type will fit, but angled ones tend to be too long and protrude past the front of the gun. The one I have on there is IMO the best for the Bog even though it sticks out a 1/2” past. I’ve since moved it flush w/ the front and just let the back rail clamp half ass, it’s good to go, just looks odd under close inspection of the rear clamp.
@@Mondomerve damn thats good to know. Im thinking im just going to get a hook style on the bottom to prevent myself from touching the barrel on accident and just grip the whole thing(thumb over top). Thanks for that, I might have been a little perturbed if I grabbed it without knowing.
What grain ammo did you use?
Always 124gr federal. My advice is to alternate keeping the mags loaded for 1-2 weeks at a time. I think that broke them in. I’ve had two more flawless range visits now so I’m wicked glad.
My concern is the 115gr

You must have had it maxed out
Perhaps you should review your Manual of arms for that particular weapon. After the magazine didn't seat the first time maybe you should have checked it out more thoroughly instead of continuously ramming the magazine back in over and over again

My experience with F5 Manufacturing has NOT been a good one. They don't list a customer service number and when you fill out their contact form there's still no response? Do your homework folks! Did you know this place has an F RATING from the BBB?
Cmon what you made out of noodles? It's not that hard to get the magazine in...be a man🤦♂️
This was the second drum, first one got all gnarled up …from slamming it into the mag well…. Was going a little easy on it this time around.
