Honestly I commend the team at Donut as well as Zach and Jerry for handling the exit as they have. Not many companies would give employees going directly into the same competitive space the time same amount of exposure as they have, and that is pretty awesome. Some folks have spent their entire career at 1 media company, only to have the rug pulled without as much as a goodbye. Same goes for Jerry and Jobe, they are not bitter on The Big Time, they are appreciative and seems that there are no hard feelings anywhere. Its the common troll in the comments section that try to stir the pot. So therefore avoid the comments section. (yes I realise...)

this video was probably shot months ago and has been in the editing process/timeline waiting to be released, a lot of comments are reading as though zach and jerry came back to film these episodes which is most likely not the case
I agree, what donut did was very great but the reaction they have gotten from the fans will make them and other channels like them hesitant to do the same in the future.
@@geraldM1 Yep, the channel would've been better off if they had screwed Jerry and Jobe. I don't wish they had done that, they are 2 of my favorite hosts. But the community's reaction has absolutely made sure these bought-out channels are never going to play nice with exiting talent again.

YUUHHH so proud of my buddy Dave! He was one of my few friends in high school, he got me into cars, drifting, and drum and bass music. He rebuilt my Honda engine when I blew it up at a track and it runs like a top.

No. They. Dont. Look again. Everything they put out gets around the same amount of views. On the low end 1 mil and the high end 3 mil. And that is a wide range of content that gets those views.

This videos is much more organic than many of the other videos just how it used to be on their prime. Love it.
I love how the split of don’t and Jerry and Jobe was truly amicable in that they are still working on videos together that they not only have contractually agreed to, but started and are finishing.
Props to donut for working amicably with it, and great props to j and j on their new channel which is also fun and enjoyable.

This looks like it was recorded a while ago, before they left. I think the only post-split content we're going to see is another season of Hi-Low. But yeah, I don't think there was any real animosity there at all. It would be shitty of them to be salty about Donut. Neither of them would be in a position to have their own channel like Big Time if it wasn't for the platform Donut gave them to become big names in the RUclips automotive space. They learned a lot and they made their names at Donut. And on Donut's side... even if they're not thrilled about it, it's just business, and what good would burning bridges achieve anyway? There may be space for collaborations down the road or something like that.

After the dash.
The letters after the dash indicate the specific features of the engine.
G - Wide angle Twin Cam head, independantly geared camshafts
F - Narrow angle Twin Cam head, common geared camshafts
T - Turbocharged
Z - Supercharged
E - Electronic Fuel Injection system
U - Emission controls (Japanese)
C - Emission controls (Californian)
L - transversely mounted
S - direct injection
All of this is right except for F heads being common geared cams only, they can be common geared or independently geared

Find yourself an old school metal fire extinguisher. They're designed to spray water, can be refilled, and use compress air to charge them. They're great for hosing down the radiator on a hot car while the driver holds the car at a high idle to circulate water through the radiator with the water pump. It gets the water to a reasonable temp quickly to help the motor out

It seems like the dyno process is like over clocking the CPU in a computer. Keep tweaking the settings until the thing crashes or overheats and then crashes. Then back off the settings just a touch and there's your overclock.
That's pretty much that yeah. Except that there are a lot more parameters in a car tune
@@microteam4 Really? I dunno. You can turn a lot of knobs in the BIOS and that's just the BIOS. There's even more stuff you can tweak in Windows and your software.
@@xliquidflames Indeed. I know that you can tweak quite a lot of stuff altough today it's mostly done automaticaly by the CPU with turbo kind of features in term of overclock. But I see your point, just like computers, most of the time, cars can be "overclocked" by deleting emission regulation safeties just like you can delete power saving features in computers or you can overclock a CPU because manufacturers tends to be conservative on CPU clocks because of variances during manufacturing just like engines can take more or less boost depending of the quality of the parts lotery that you got
