Favourite engine ever was the straight 6 4-litre in my 1991 XJR XJ40, so smoooooth. The 2.0 pinto in a Ford Granada I had was wonderful too.
Every once in a while I notice when the quality of content I consume goes up, and I've consistently watched your channel become a TV level production. Amazing work, Donut!
40 seconds in, love the editing. It's so fast, quick, and to the point. No rambling or anything unnecessary.
That's so cool y'all got Leno on the show. Also glad he made a full recovery.
The peel p50 rocks, literally. It also tips.
It also rolls! 😂 Just gotta tip down a hill!
That exhaust symphony was absolutely glorious. I just love how they have basically become Jays best friends .
I love how you guys can go from garage builds to top of the line! Doesn’t get better!
The fact that he talks about the 4/4 time vs 5/4 time was completely unexpected
it kinda shocked me how ingenious it is as a descriptive term.
V4 engine crying in the corner
V9 in the depth of depression not even existing
Bro snickles go crazy

The sound of James’s Golf is… soooo good 🤤
That thing was orgasmic 🤤😵
You should hear Volvo's S60R with the turbo 2.5
I love that the GR Corolla was the pick for the 3 cylinder (ok, GR Yaris are hard to get in the States; that's probably why) and I'm happy to see some love for the lil hot hatch! I'm thoroughly enjoying mine!
Great production to the whole team. Don’t lose that humble edge!!. Thank you Donut for always keeping us entertained .
I love that Jay Leno provided vehicles for this. Dudes got an impressive car collection.
Gotta give it to James for getting back into that p50
I just love how they have basically become Jays best friends 😂
Meet me at dig world Katy Texas Wednesday 3:00 pm 1/3/2024
Yessssssssss Borla! The sponsor has literally made my 2010 Corolla OEM+ the best sounding thing ever!
I really like james’ golf. Never been a big fan of them but I like the look of his and definitely like the sound.
Cool to see guys like Jay Leno & Manny collabing with donut and sharing cars that otherwise would be unattainable with car enthusiasts, very cool and much respect to them & donut
Both Subarus breaking is just such a Subie thing to do 😂
9:39 crazy that the 5cyl is perfectly balanced both primary and secondary, that's why volvos been using em for many years
And Volvo manages to no use a balance shaft on theirs. Btw hi Taylor lol. Fancy seeing you here.
MB used 5cyl engines too from early -70's to -96, and volvo had one inline 5 engine 1979-1980 in 200 series.
@@gamer_dodo2327 don’t you mean the Volvo whiteblock that went from 1991 to 2016 ? 25 years of a 5 cylinder in their road cars.
no, i mean vw engine, D20 that volvo used in 200series, it was diesel but inline 5 anyway, i think it was not in use in many normal cars, and now i remembered audi used lot's of inline 5 engines too in like early -80's@@rex_s80
This channel is so fun..no idea how you source this stuff, but thanks for being a great channel..mo powa baby
Also BIG shout out to Uncle Jay, without him, motoring wouldn't be as fun.
Jay is the best kind of car collector. He collects everything and is more interested in the car's story than some exclusivity or clout. And, he uses his stuff. You know you've made it big in the car world when not only are you filming in Jay's garage, not only is he driving you around, but he's letting you drive his cars.
Not really. He made no difference in “motoring” and never will.
James ending the videos with I love you is just...good, it just feels good. ♥️ U guys 2.
It would be super interesting to hear all the different engines with as close to the same exhaust set up as possible to really see what the different sounds are
THIS is actual high quality entertainment.
i love that jay is now just a part of the donut cast
Of course Jay Leno has that car lol. His collection of wheeled vehicles is amazing. I particularly like the steam engine ones I've seen.
A video comparing the Viper V10 to the LFA would be interesting. Sound, design, looks, intention all that…
The viper is notoriously known for terrible sound without mods
@@jedispartancoolmanOnly the first generation. The later generations improved greatly on the sound.
How can a car sound bad when it's pretty much dead quiet to begin with?@@jedispartancoolman

dude, that borla advertisement is the only advertisement i’ve ever enjoyed watching
Y'all really need to go out and have a closer look at that truck with a plane engine in it. Gotta love crazy ideas like that, man. Kudos to Gary for building that monster.
Wish the 7 cylinder was in the video, that was such a unique and cool build
It'd be cool to see a vid on the VW oddities, like the VR6, W8, and W12
Should have gotten Simon Whitelock's car, which has 48 cylinders
Probably one of the best videos of the year. Thank you donut , I'm huge exhaust person. You made my Christmas better, thank you
videos from this channel are naturally enternaining, but i also appreciate the effort they put into the structure and planning to make these videos somewhat educational as well
I need a 5 OR 10 cylinder in my life. I'm just in love with that two tone "harmony" sound.
5cyl will be the best decision you’ve ever made. Ask me how I know 😅
@TrevorDewey TT RS Brothers unite 🤝 I’ve got a 6MT TT RS at home. Best car I’ve ever driven to this day.
