To Donut and Jer, this is easily my favorite episode of content yall have ever put out. I was just googling this the other day and of course it popped up today. Super stoked with the Adam Savage cameo. Jeremiah straight up making physics history and getting an academic paper out of this so dope. Keep up the amazing videos
When Jerry said he needed some help from engineers, I thought for sure Mark Rober was going to show up. Adam Savage and Motivo are superb expectation busters
Watt was interested in pitching his machine to people who had horses work for hours on end, everyday, on critical infrastructure like a mine's water pump. What you measured was Maximum horsepower output. Even a strong modern horse wouldn't be able to pull their full strenght for much time. What Watt did was find out the load in which the average horse could pull continuously. And the French repeated his experiments, but they did it on the Metric system. A CV is roughly 10W less than an HP. Which is pretty much right on the money if you consider the statistical deviations between the horses tested.
That is a really good point. The disconnect, I think, is that car people car about the maximum power of an engine because unlike horses, they don't have to worry about an energy system which depletes rapidly.
Now this is peak Donut - This is what I subscribed for all those years ago Jeremiah has been such an amazing addition and he's really shown peak form here
They used Shetland Ponys when pulling mining materials out of the mines because the height of them, and incredibly strong for their size. Maybe thats what 1 horsepower stems from?
Seems like the obvious solution was to have the horse walk in a circle turning a beam, just like the original draught horses... that was the best solution when they were actually using the power. It would allow longer duration testing, which is critical in the definition of HP, as it's not supposed to be a peak power, but the "usable" continuous power the horse can provide as an engine. Would also be pretty easy to rig up a strain gauge for the purpose of measuring the torque.
To be fair, the peak power is the figure that's used in vehicles. Of course, the reason for that is unlike biological systems, a vehicle can maintain peak power over a long period of time (though is wasteful of gasoline and is taxing on the drivetrain).
@@avihooilan5373 but I believe the unit was intended for the usable power of a horse, not its peak. 746W is a laughable peak power for a horse; I can do well more on my bike 😂. I expect a horse can output maybe 10kW or more briefly.
@@superjimnz you're right about that, I am just saying that if we want to compare a horse to a car we should look at peak power, not sustained power. This is why this single horse had over five times worth of horsepower in the video. The problem with these kind of questions is that you'll get a huge range of answers depending on what exactly you're measuring. A biological system has many different energy outputting parts and there's not a clear obvious way to quantify this scalar number we call power. Sustained power and power bursts in a biological systems can be orders of magnitude apart. A car has a nominal horsepower figure which captures some power output (at the crank or the wheel for brake horsepower) at peak conditions (typically engine RPM), but even a car wouldn't sustain a consistent maximum power because that would wear down the drivetrain quickly and no driver actually uses a car that way. Anyway, your original idea is right... the correct measurement would be to look at the power utility of a horse for a given task and the numbers would be different depending on what we want the horse to do, such a locomotion, sprinting, carrying weight, doing mechanical work (such as in a mill). I'd also imagine that different horses are good at different things.
So the spec sheet on a Challenger with 394 HP should now read: Horsepower: 394 (69 BigDHP). What an incredible undertaking! The things that can be achieved when you get the right people (and horse) working together. Great job everyone! The campfire scene was so good. High Five for whoever's idea that was.

I'll be short: one of the greatest videos i ever seen. I was too wondering many times, how do we actually measure this. Who gave us the standard for this. And thank you all at Donut, Motivo, Big D, Savage and all that helped. Congrats
I always knew James Watt came up with the horsepower rating. I never knew how he did it though. What people have to realize is it is an average over time. Sure the horse pulled 5.7 HP on its pulls but it has to sustain that kind of effort indefinitely. An engine can and will run all day long. It wasn't brewing where horses were being used either but mining. Mines had to have large stables for their operations. It was an enormous expense to maintain. The financial incentive to get rid of all of that was huge. Everything had to be pulled out of mines. Which included a lot of water.
Only if Big D knew how much he means to the world at this moment and will remain a huge part and hold much significance to the automotive industry. He will be the one ppl will think about when talking about horse power.
Someone should have done the equivalent of this 50 to a hundred years ago. I asked a auto mechanic about this when I was a kid in the 80's. I'm surprised that Myth Busters didn't do something like this when the show was airing. This is one of the coolest episodes of Donut. Thank you.
I completely agree. I was so excited to see this after seeing James Watt's diagram and formula in textbooks forever. I just wonder how much the reduction with the harness going through the pulleys may have contributed or not to the results. It is great to finally get a definitive answer.❤

It wasn't that much of a collab though, more like Donut paid a premium to have a quick video call with Adam, who said "yeah I'd hire some engineers, have fun with that, bye".
This work was already done by GPS trackers. People who competitively ride are using GPS to see how far and how fast they are going. When using hills to increase a horses stamina and performance the rise in altitude as well as the speed and time can be converted to work in Joules this can then be converted to Watts.
A cameo by Adam, a beautiful horse, an amazing team from Motivo, and a great job by the donut team all together in one video. Thank you for doing this. I hope this actually becomes a proper peer-reviewed paper!
THIS is what RUclips and the internet should be like : gathering people, mixing ideas and skills, building knowledge. This was awesome, thank you for this video. And please give Big D a hug for us. He's beautiful !
Well GAFAM is gathering people ofr its own profit - this experiment (i fast forwarded it with adblocker) could easily be done with a weight of a horse+jockey and filming how a race horse with jockey accelerates. You would get an acceleration at each part of the race (speed) and from that simply a power of the horse at his natural load of racing (different accelerations at different speeds or as car fans could say, which gear+rpms )
I doubt a horse can continue pulling like this for very long. 3.75 kW power to the dyno must mean about the same goes to heating the horse's muscles. 20 minutes and the horse would be drenched in sweat and panting. 1 hp might be a simplistic and faulted approximation of a horse working for hours at a time at 1 hp.
They did only use a light draft horse. Friesian horses aren't bred for pulling power. A true draft horse like a clydesdale is a lot stronger at pulling as that is what they are bred for

Big D is awesome. Horses are awesome and incredible beings., they've helped propel humanity into the future, and deserve a happy life. The horse looked like it was pretty confused most of the time, but seemed like it was having fun. Imagine explaining to the horse what the heck is even going on. He wants his treats, and lots of positive, good natured interactions. Apples for everyone!
""yeah so we've based our ENTIRE modern civilization in your species' power, but dudes kinda took shortcuts here and there so we're not really sure how they compare 1 to 1 to tthe real thing, horses.. so today, you'll help us figure out HOW MUCH BETTER you actually are than just 'one horsepower' " i honestly think the horse would be proud as fuck 😂😂😂😂
The horsepower was never intended to measure peak output, that's a modern car thing. It was for measuring the expected amount of work you could get out of a horse vs. some motor or other, and after we stopped using horses it stopped mattering all that much how accurate it is. So, a relatively relaxed horse descended from draft horses is exactly the measure we want if we want to know how much Watt was fudging his numbers to make his steam engine look good.
The only way I can think of is to turn the Dyno into a treadmill, because if you change the radius of your cars wheels and your can can have faster acceleration if the wheel is smaller or if it's bigger the top speed increases. So the only way is to turn the Dyno into a treadmill, use some harness on the horse, fix him to a pole so he can move the dyno turned treadmill. I'm at 10:58, curious what they did :)
Same you got me, I thought they were gonna do one of those original HP tests by The diagrams at the start of video the one he said was probably never done 😂
They should 100% get this published as an engineering research article. I would read the hell out of that. I've always wondered how much ACTUAL power a horse could make and I was pretty astounded to see the number at the end. Amazing work. So glad I follow this channel!!
The moment I saw the title of this video, I instantly thought, "Wait a minute, wouldn't the Mythbusters have answered this question already?" So I was both excited and astounded when Adam Savage showed up and admitted they had never done such a thing.
He never base tested with a car! We don’t have a way to verify their calculations. If we want to be scientific, yes all this works, but at least compare the linear drag Big D could make with that of a car that you have verified the horsepower with the same dyno before, to make sure the calculations are correct, yes the calculation’s results made sense, but it wouldn’t be that hard to just hook it up to a car to see if the power lost is equivalent to the calculations. Always have the base comparison tested the Same Way! otherwise good video, and inspiring :)
Interesting video. This bears out calculations made in the UK regarding the pulling power of heavy horses such as the Percheron, Suffolk Punch, Shire and Clydesdale breeds, which have been assessed as providing 5-8 HP on prolonged pulls. Big D resembles a Percheron in stature.
@@ReiCaixa very interesting dilemma!!!! If 1 horse = 5.7 hp, and 1 person = 1.6 hp, then 1 centaur = ? . How would you average both? weight-based? inertia-based? CoG-based?
When i realized that they performed this experiment with the intention of being peer reviewed and not just for views, i was like hell yeah! These guys are out to stir up mechanical history, and im here for it.
I don't think this experiment has any potential to be used in a peer-reviewed study. The mere fact that Big D is nowhere close to the maximum size and power of a large draft horse (like the one shown at 3:10 in the video) the potential for alternate outcomes in results is too high to warrant consideration as proof of the horsepower produced by the horse as a species.
@@grandpalarry7776 Their method is a worthy contribution on its own. The method is worthy of a peer reviewed study; just because they didn't fully answer the question, it is still a significant incremental step.
As I scientist that often does peer reviews, I would have a lot of concerns. Using only 1 horse already makes any publication impossible imo. Let alone that the set-up is unnecessarily convoluted allowing for a massive amounts of errors. Furthermore, as stated at the start, horsepower was based on the power of a horse over a long period of time, not peak horse power. These ‘errors’ all make sense for this great video and this really isn’t a critique. But calling it science worthy of publication is a bit of a stretch 😅
Jeremiah sneaking in pure quality engineering and science content. This episode was amazing and showcases how smart and funny young Jeremiah is great episode!
For anyone curious horsepower was first tested by how much work (a 1 ton block moving it up and down) a horse can preform in a hour that’s how horsepower was created
And there was me, hoping you were going to build a horse sized treadmill 😂 That would have let you measure sustained horsepower rather than very short burst.
Yes, and an actual working horse (Not this prancing Hollywood substitute) will also give a drasticly different result. For fun, search: "draft horse" or "horse pulling car being stuck"
The step power of the horse would probably damage the machine in a way that would cause an inconsistency, not to mention the material issue for proper traction for the hooves, and safety for the hooves as well.@@hmezzy1771
As an engineer that works in the energy field, I truly appreciate this. I can see Watt's perspective in communicating to the masses a comparative horse power to machine. How else do you communicate to an uneducated person that can only see what a horse can do (especially ~200 years ago). The contribution Watt made via his steam engine is mind boggling. We still use steam to power everything to this day.
That's actually the more impressive part. That the majority of people were illiterate yet were still able to build and maintain fairly complex machines back in the day
It was just a matter of when and never a matter of WHO. I don't understand all the praising of specific individuals. This is like praising car brands, as if other human groups couldn't have achieved certain achievements. Ps: I'm fun at parties and a blast at funerals 😛
A lot of people contributed to the steam engine with many inventions complementing each other. Watts biggest contribution was to let the cylinder only partially fill with a bit of steam and then let the steam expand by itself. Thus using less steam and make a much more efficient engine. However with his patent and some money behind him he fought hard against other inventors of the steam engine for 20 years. During those years the development of various steam engines actually stagnated. So his net contribution is debatable. There is seldom a single inventor behind something, but history can only remember one.
My brother has big male draft horses that are 17+ hands tall and weigh over 2000 lbs. They've pulled huge logs out of deep mud and they can work like that all day. They're far bigger and stronger than the horse used in the video. I wouldn't be surprised if they could drag your whole trailer dyno across the ground. p.s. Draft horses are generally trained to pull as pairs, they pull harder than twice as much as one horse will. If I recall, they pull FOUR TIMES as much as one horse would.
I think these guys should attend a county fair in Washington State to see a horse pulling competition or a wheat field harvesting using the old horse drawn harvesters. My in-laws had Clydesdales……they were something to see! cheers
I think it’s more about the efficiency tbh, the power loss you get when pulling something in a vertical line without every movement you make being used solely to create power is very inefficient. I think it speaks more to the incredible engineers who have gone from GIGANTIC steam engines that make meager power numbers all the way down to tiny little electric motors that generate horsepower sometimes in the triple digits is far more impressive. The way they can design something to be so small yet so effective at generating power is truly incredible
Yeah, it's a good thing I fast-forwarded to the end. This would have been a total waste of time to watch the whole way through. The original HP value was based on the amount of work a horse could do over a day.
It's so cool to see someone undertake this project! Loved this video. As a professional in the equestrian field, I would love to see a repeat someday with a larger sample size of horses. As mentioned, there are over 350 breeds. Big D (handsome though he is) is not a heavy draft horse, which is the kind originally intended for the measurement of horsepower. He also hasn't been trained to properly pull, nor was he wearing a pulling yoke. A Belgian trained to pull, for example, would probably produce a much higher reading (I'd confidently wager at least 10). They're built to find that leverage, and a team of 2 can pull a semi plus a rig out of a ditch. Having said that, I know this video took a ton of effort and brains to make. I've been watching this channel for a long time, and I'm stoked to see an actual horse appear. Best collab. Cheers for a job well done guys!
i was thinking the same! a friesian is a better breed for testing than the quarter horse for sure, but it would be great to see some heavy drafts. now that the rig is built, i would love to see future academic papers across the breeds + multiple horses tested!
What is needed is a sample duration. Horsepower as it was originally conceived was replacing actual horses doing real work. Like all day long. Back then that meant at least a 12 hour day. They would literally work horses to death. Mine owners weren't the nicest people on the planet. They had money to make.
The name "Big D" is going to be referenced on the internet and in science journals countless times now thanks to you guys You've done some truly remarkable work

Excuse me for giving a little presentation of Islam, because it is very misunderstood nowadays, especially on those « Antichrist's » times, where media and politics are mixed to distort history and truth. Thank you very much for your time. Islam is an arabic word that means the Surrender to the One and Only God, our Creator, Protector, Provider, who gives us life and all that we have, we are safe and sound by his will and grace, we are His and to Him we return, and we have to thank him in this trial life by submitting to him by our free will, or later in the Day of judgment when it's too late to save our own skin. Islam was the original Religion descended to earth from heaven with Adam and Eve (peace and blessing be upon them) in the beginning of humanity. and was passed to people with the succession of the 124 000 prophets and 315 messengers of God to all nations and civilizations since, passing by Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Ismaël, Joseph, Moses, Aaron, Joshua, David, Solomon and Jesus (Peace and blessing be upon them) during the history of mankind, the last replaces and completes the previous, until the succession of the last messenger of God fourteen centuries ago, Muhammad (Peace and blessing be upon him) to complete the noble morals of all mankind, to bring humans and jinns out of darkness into light, and to purify people's religion and belief from corruption and polytheism, and return it to purity and true monotheism, like it was in the times of the prophets (Peace and blessing be upon them). Many Religions that we know nowadays, at their beginning were true and under Islam, initiated by one of the prophets of God, but their original teachings, history and scriptures have been corrupted over time with falsification and polytheism, or lost and replaced with false ones. That's why Islam is the only Religion accepted by God nowadays, which consists in bearing witness that there is no god besides Allah (God in Aramaic, the original language of Jesus and the Gospel), and that Muhammad is His servant and messenger, just like Jesus and Moses and others are His servants and messengers. Never a messenger of God said he was God or literally son of God, it was the people after him who changed the words of God and corrupted the Religion. God is unique and absolute, He does not need to have a family and sons or to associate anyone else with His kingdom, He can simply create whatever He wants, everything belongs to Him, and to Him everything will return. Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth. The Christ Jesus, son of Mary, was but God's Apostle - [the fulfilment of] His promise which He had conveyed unto Mary - and a soul created by Him. Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is] a trinity". Desist [from this assertion] for your own good. God is but One God; utterly remote is He, in His glory, from having a son: unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and none is as worthy of trust as God. Never did the Christ feel too proud to be God's servant, nor do the angels who are near unto Him. And those who feel too proud to serve Him and glory in their arrogance [should know that on Judgment Day] He will gather them all unto Himself: (171-172 / Translated by Muhammad Asad). Allah the Most Merciful said in Surah Ali-Imran : Behold, the only [true] religion in the sight of God is [man's] self-surrender unto Him; and those who were vouchsafed revelation aforetime took, out of mutual jealousy, to divergent views [on this point] only after knowledge [thereof] had come unto them. But as for him who denies the truth of God's messages - behold, God is swift in reckoning! Thus, [O Prophet,] if they argue with thee, say, "I have surrendered my whole being unto God, and [so have] all who follow me!" - and ask those who have been vouchsafed revelation aforetime, as well as all unlettered people, "Have you [too] surrendered yourselves unto Him?" And if they surrender themselves unto Him, they are on the right path; but if they turn away - behold, thy duty is no more than to deliver the message: for God sees all that is in [the hearts of] His creatures. Verily, as for those who deny the truth of God's messages, and slay the prophets against all right, and slay people who enjoin equity - announce unto them a grievous chastisement. It is they whose works shall come to nought both in this world and in the life to come; and they shall have none to succour them. (19-22 / Translated by Muhammad Asad).. God said : Say, “We believe in Allah, and in what was revealed to us, and in what was revealed to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the Patriarchs, and in what was given to Moses and Jesus, and in what was given to the prophets from their Lord. We do not differentiate between any of them. And to Him, we surrender.” (2:136 / Translated by Community) Salam (Peace) -----------------------
I graduated with a BS Aero Eng degree in 1986. I remember the HP calculation and drawing from my old textbooks. Big thanks to Big D, and the entire team for setting the record straight. James Watt was probably pretty accurate in his definition. Big D did some short pulls, but Watt observed horses doing long pulls. If they ran the experiment doing an hour long pull, I’ll bet Watts numbers would be pretty close.
Or if they calculated how much work a horse could do all day long. Watt was selling his engines to mine operators. They worked 12 hour shifts. I suppose they gave horse teams breaks. But that has to be calculated into it too. No one gives a steam engine a break.

@@beebus1540 it is a great career choice. I have worked on lots of different stuff. I worked on Space Station, turbine engines, and fighter jets. I wish you all the best.

Definitely one of the best Donut videos in a long time!

When Jerry said he needed some help from engineers, I thought for sure Mark Rober was going to show up. Adam Savage and Motivo are superb expectation busters
Rober eat your heart out, Motivo is here!
Very cool. I've had a buttload (SAE) of cars in my 51 years of driving and never actually thought about it. Great explanation.
That is a really good point. The disconnect, I think, is that car people car about the maximum power of an engine because unlike horses, they don't have to worry about an energy system which depletes rapidly.

@@rile7648 yeah it didn't seem like he did much else other than that

"Hmmm, I think I need help, Adam?"
"Yes, you need help"
Seems like the obvious solution was to have the horse walk in a circle turning a beam, just like the original draught horses... that was the best solution when they were actually using the power. It would allow longer duration testing, which is critical in the definition of HP, as it's not supposed to be a peak power, but the "usable" continuous power the horse can provide as an engine. Would also be pretty easy to rig up a strain gauge for the purpose of measuring the torque.
Exactly what I thought.

If only they used to plow horse you know an actual horse that pulls things
I always knew James Watt came up with the horsepower rating. I never knew how he did it though. What people have to realize is it is an average over time. Sure the horse pulled 5.7 HP on its pulls but it has to sustain that kind of effort indefinitely. An engine can and will run all day long. It wasn't brewing where horses were being used either but mining. Mines had to have large stables for their operations. It was an enormous expense to maintain. The financial incentive to get rid of all of that was huge. Everything had to be pulled out of mines. Which included a lot of water.

1 Big D = 5.7hp also makes Watts calculation of that 10hp steam engine to replace 2 draft horses pretty accurate
yes you're pretty right my friend!
@@wombatillo Indeed, they were only allowed to do 5 pulls, and that's with pauses in between.

@@TheTheMinions It seems like it
The horsepower was never intended to measure peak output, that's a modern car thing.

Getting Adam Savage involved put a smile on my face
Interesting video. This bears out calculations made in the UK regarding the pulling power of heavy horses such as the Percheron, Suffolk Punch, Shire and Clydesdale breeds, which have been assessed as providing 5-8 HP on prolonged pulls. Big D resembles a Percheron in stature.
As a horse person and a car person, I can say that this is the best Donut video so far
You're a Centaur with wheels!?
@@ReiCaixa very interesting dilemma!!!! If 1 horse = 5.7 hp, and 1 person = 1.6 hp, then
1 centaur = ? . How would you average both? weight-based? inertia-based? CoG-based?

When i realized that they performed this experiment with the intention of being peer reviewed and not just for views, i was like hell yeah! These guys are out to stir up mechanical history, and im here for it.
ohh yea me too, i was afraid this was just for fun project but turns out it's for science. waiting for that sweet DOI
@@ErichteiaAgreed. Check out Nebraska tractor test.

For anyone curious horsepower was first tested by how much work (a 1 ton block moving it up and down) a horse can preform in a hour that’s how horsepower was created
This isnt accurate at all dont listen to this guy
And there was me, hoping you were going to build a horse sized treadmill 😂 That would have let you measure sustained horsepower rather than very short burst.
Yes, and an actual working horse (Not this prancing Hollywood substitute) will also give a drasticly different result. For fun, search: "draft horse" or "horse pulling car being stuck"
exactly what I was wondering, why not use a treadmill type device?!
The step power of the horse would probably damage the machine in a way that would cause an inconsistency, not to mention the material issue for proper traction for the hooves, and safety for the hooves as well.@@hmezzy1771

@@hmezzy1771I mean the horse would for sure be quite confused and it'd be difficult to get the same amount of traction
I enjoy the shot of Jeremiah riding the horse with a full face motorcycle helmet

You can thank the lawyers for that! Politics = helmets
@@ObservationofLimits Most people are still illiterate in the original sense of the word.
Ye, kinda like "Candela" for light. Everybody has a sense for how bright a candle is.
My in-laws had Clydesdales……they were something to see! cheers
Its crazy how strong little electrical motors are when you see how much effort 1 horse power really is.
All that muscle mass being converted to a heavy electrical motor. It really is crazy.
Yeah some commercial laundry at my job had an motor pulled out. It was rated at 5hp. It was really dense for it's size too.

A boerenpaard would probably beat big D but they're like 50% larger/heavier too.
Imo it's like comparing HP to torque...
i was thinking the same! a friesian is a better breed for testing than the quarter horse for sure, but it would be great to see some heavy drafts. now that the rig is built, i would love to see future academic papers across the breeds + multiple horses tested!
What is needed is a sample duration. Horsepower as it was originally conceived was replacing actual horses doing real work. Like all day long. Back then that meant at least a 12 hour day. They would literally work horses to death. Mine owners weren't the nicest people on the planet. They had money to make.
Ask budweiser to get their Clydesdale team 😂
As they said: they were comparing a regular horse to a regular car. Not a semi truck or a race car kind of horse

Hello ! May Allah protect and guide you to his light and happiness in this life and the hereafter, God bless, Ameen.
Allah said in Surah Al-Mu’minun : “God has never begotten a son, nor is there any god besides Him. Otherwise, each god would have taken away what it has created, and some of them would have gained supremacy over others. Glory be to God, far beyond what they describe. The Knower of the hidden and the manifest. He is exalted, far above what they associate. (91-92 / Translated by ITANI).
Allah means the one and only God, the God of all prophets and creatures, the creator of the universe and mankind, and the Master of the Day of judgment, where our destiny, Hell or Paradise, is decided based on our faith and deeds in this trial life, and above all, Allah's mercy.
Allah said in Surah Al-Ikhlas : In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
Say, “He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He begets not, nor was He begotten. And there is none comparable to Him.” (1-4 / Translated by ITANI).
Allah said in Surah An-Nisa : O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel!
And to Him, we surrender.”

This is 1000% something I have always thought about, thank you for making it happen.
I'd rather just consider it one man power from now on 😂😂😂
That’s awesome, I want to go into aerospace engineering when I graduate high School, if you don’t mind me asking what kind of work did you do once you got your degree?
@@beebus1540 it is a great career choice. I have worked on lots of different stuff. I worked on Space Station, turbine engines, and fighter jets. I wish you all the best.
But as they said, Watt had every reason to exaggerate. Big D, buff as he is, is also only a _light_ draft horse, and one whose custodians care more about his welfare than about his output.
An actual brewery back in the 19th century would probably be working their (buffer) horses harder.
Definitely one of the best Donut videos in a long time!
Other numbers tend to be higher, but many call it a "theoretical maximum" - obviously an actual horse is it not gonna pull crushing it's own bones.
Next step: Publish ALL data! Mistakes are always possible so kindly clear the way for follow ups and corrections. Publishing a paper is nice, but getting cited a lot is next level.
