That's an amazing looking weapon. Grand Power is an extremely well made firearms manufacturer.
My husband and I knew very little about GP until we found your videos.
We have no stories on this particular weapon, as we don't have one yet. We're very happy with the GP pistol we purchased. Thank you again 🙏.

I’ve shot one as a range rental at our local importer. It is an amazing weapon.
One day I might have saved enough money to buy my own.

I was literally about to say, "hopefully you didn't get the one that supposedly jams" or something like "stay away from the sp9a1 but the sp9a3 was okay". And I haven't had any experience with it all just hearsay or rather misconception. I always thought it had a nice look though. Man that's quite the honor to be the first to review it in the states and had visited their factory! Very cool!

Clint Smith "replace the spent magazine with a loaded magazine, insert the magazine, and why do I pull down on the mag? BECAUSE I CAN AND IT MAKES ME FEEL GOOD 😂!" Integrating valuable knowledge in a fun and informative way. Great video as always 👍

Another great video GB...the Stribog A3 looks like a great gun, and I’d love to own one. Maybe someday? 😉

I've always found this class of guns to be very interesting. My son owns a CZ Scorpion and I've always thought the Stribog would be the model I'd buy if I decide to expand my collection beyond handguns. However, the seeming eternal AFT/pistol brace issue has kept me from spending my money.

The Scorpion is loger overall with a shorter barrel. That give both energy and form factor advantage to the Stribog.

I just found the email from my Stribog purchase back in Jan 2022. I grabbed the SPA3 with a folding brace from Double M Defense for 797. Mines shipped with 2 straight mags and 1 curved mag. I have ran everything through it. Hollow points, steel, +p, polymer coated 115 up to 147 group all suppressed and unsuppressed and have never had any feeding issues. This thing just runs. I see braced ones going for over 1000. I got a great deal 🙌🏾

I bought a SP1A gen2 (non reciprocating charging handle) in 2020 when they still came with straight gen 1 mags. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS GUN. I've never had any issues that weren't ammo related. Now that I have hundreds of rounds through it, it will run 115 grain 9mm no problem, although I try to stick with 124 grain. It serves as my bedside gun, truck bag gun and is pretty much suitable for any role where 9mm will suffice. Mine has the Dragon Snout and some other cosmetic and functional attachments, which makes it look cool and more importantly more ergonomic and handle better. Back in 2020 they were much more budget friendly than they are now, but still very much worth the $ these days. Great content as always. Keep up the EXCELLENT work.

How does yours handle JHP ammo? More specifically, which JHP do you use?

"We've all seen what happens with the Scorpions"...
What happens? I never went down the Scorpion rabbit hole, because it just felt awkward ergonomically, and the sights were too hard to see, for me.

I want the 10mm variant... I tested it once and put like 150 rounds and I absolutely love how it feels, even being 10mm with the roller delayed action

      The 10mm is super-smooth shooting.

I gotta say, you definitely got very lucky to do a review of the Grand Power Stribog and got to try out their fully semi auto version in Europe. It's a very nice platform indeed!

What do you think of HB Industries aftermarket accessories and should a person be wary of having an attached stabilizing brace even if a member of FPC? Not knowing what direction the SCOTUS will go on this issue certainly makes a person apprehensive. Great review as always.

At the moment (18MAR24) Braces are ok again. HB makes some interesting stuff, I don't see a need for much of it.

I own an SP9A3 with a 10 inch barrel. When it works it is amazing. However, I have two problems - spent brass sometimes does not eject fully and ends up jammed behind the receiver. Secondly, when using the curved mags I often get a jam - either the cartridge does not feed correctly or I get a stovepipe. No such problems when using the straight 20 round mags. I have tried different powder loads and different bullet weights but to no avail. Any suggestions?

I've only shot a pre-release SP10. THis may sound silly, but are you sure your finger isn't in the way? I've seen some famous RUclipsrs cause their own problems by placing a finger near the ejection port.

@@gbgunsmedia No this is based on range time with the SP9A3. The GUN DOES NOT CYCLE HOLLOW POINTS RELIABLY.

The Stribog oe mags suck! Both the straight mags and the curved mags, a gun designed for military and police that you can’t tap, rack, shoot….. in fear of braking the feed lips on an open or closed bolt. Grand power has multiple times changed the mags, followers and overall design and now with their newest guns have gone to Glock and HK style mags. And 2 companies have made a fortune with different lowers designs to take Glock, CZ, and Colt mags before Grand power ever thought about doing so! It still funny to me after all the video and photo proof the mags are shit, the company and fanboys still blame the user. Polymer mags that are used in combat that don’t brake when tapped, rack, and shot then can repeat that 10000’s times, but do it with the Stribog and I quote” a few time” broke feed lip. I call again bullshit!

I totally and completely agree with you I unfortunately own two of these the SP9A1 second gen and an SP9A3 The A3 will not cycle 124 grain HST hollow points reliably knows up jams every three rounds. It has been a major disappointment and I refused to spend more money on this gun to get it to function correctly.
