Man I had one while shooting USPSA also. Ir was a dream to use. I wanted to get into that high end game but it wasn't affordable. The SPS allowed me to pretend lol. I went from a cz75 to that and wow a huge difference in shot times. Wish I hadn't sold it but such is life.
So Much BS and AI anymore Im out!!! Love from Richmond Ky and peace to you guys!!!! Off the grid!!!
@@MichaelHoward-fr3hp I have used AI in one video on this channel, but as a joke
great video, i'm considering getting one of these & put the staccato on hold
I think you'll be happier with a BUL Armormy. Less expensive, higher capacity, and beats Stacatto on paper all day long. I say "on paper" because while BUL Armory has been happy to work with me, Stacatto has stuck to "influencers" and paid media. Take from that what you will.
@@gbgunsmedia im already on the waiting list 👍🏾
Hey Graham, you have got to check out the Derya Melik, a Beretta 92 FS Clone, it is amazing!
I've seen it. If the Patrons want it we might get one. Rock Island hasn't cooperated with me since the STK 100 failure.
Graham, thanks buddy, I know you will do your best. I think the Blue ONe is beautiful! Dwight
I hate striker fired pistols. The PDP changed that opinion of mine. I love it.
What comparison's can you make if any to the Bul SAS 2 5"? I own it but everytime you pull out the old Pantera it makes me want to get one! Then again I want them all!!!!!! Budgets!!!!!!! Ughhhhh
I need help and information about the Holosun optic you have installed already...
Sorry, I'm not big on dots. I've got a lot of them, but aside from nto liking autp brightness, and prefering green over red, I generally regulate them to range-only use. I've had too many dot failures to trust them for carry.
I keep staring at the beetle on your forehead😁
Thank you for sharing this information. Nice looking DS pistol. You have a great firearms collection. Have a great day 😃🙏
I have SPS tastes and a Tisas budget.
Unfortunately the experience is so vastly different that they hardly compare.
I have no doubt.
That is a beautiful pistol, and still available from TriStar. I found it interesting that you also find the lack of practicality in competition shooting sports a little disturbing. My opinion is that the emphasis placed on speed has no good application to defensive or precision shooting. I can see that it is fun, in small doses 😀 I have looked at the handguns offered by TriStar several times and may eventually wind up with one. Probably not the Pantera - I like some of their other options better. But I would not have been inspired to search out their website without seeing your earlier videos about this gun.
I love the aesthetic of this piece. A truly international product there.
Nice looking pistola. Old Skool and classic with a modern flare.
Nice but with Today’s people looking for Carry Handguns why do they Gun Companies still make Long Handguns ?
@gregoryh4601 bevause people still compete, and some understand that if you want proper ballistics, you need a proper barrel length.
They serve two completely different purposes. You wouldn't buy a cargo van to make a world record lap around the Nürburgring, would you? Alternatively, you wouldn't buy a 911 GT3RS to haul your wife and 5 kids to school and work. Carry guns are a compromise. Full size pistols handle, and preform better. Some folks enjoy the shoot ability of a fullsize over the compromise of a compact.
🔥🔥🔥!! 🤙🤙🤙
Fellow Oregonian, instant subbed. Great video, very informative - no bs, straight to it. Easy.
@@InterstellarCloudd thabk you and welcome to the second channel!
Sweet piece!!!
I just got one love the size and ergonomics , I do plan on getting some plus one base plates. Other than that to me it’s perfect for my CCW.
Does the Q100 Mk.23 shoot better than the K100 Mk.23?? Certainly did here.
They're equally accurate, but unlike the Mk12s where I personally tended to shoot better with the K100, witht eh Mk23s the Q100 and I have that special understanding.
@@gbgunsmedia Thank you for the comment. It certainly seems that way in your videos. I was set on the K100 Mk23, but now I wonder if the Q100 Mk23 should be my choice, trigger and all.
@@BurntOrangeHorn78 I think the K100 is a more practical gun, but the way GP made a striker system is unique and makes for incredible range time once you learn it
Thank you
I have several micro 9 pistols. I just got the Kimber R7 mako...I love this gun. It shoots very will, easy to carry and is now part of my pistol rotation.
Never had any issues with PMC ammo.
It is good Graham. Use it at the range all time. With CZP10C and CZ75BD Omega 9mm
Grand power Q1 mk23 and Q1s mk23 are good low recoil alternatives to the Walther pdp
@gbgunsmedia does the threaded barrel add any extra velocity gains because it is a bit longer? Is there any compensators for it that you know of?
@@matthewkabbash it might add 20-59fps if I had to guess
Bought my Wife the Canik MC9 and she loves it.
They definitely updated them. They both, MC2C and MC2SC come Optic Ready.
RIP Paul Harold .. You'll be missed
I'll admit, in your defense, Grand Power changed me too. It's a complicated love. It started with a bone stock X-Cal Mk12 that outshot all of my modded Berettas. All LTT parts and tuned. We are talking about a $600 gun that outshot my LTT PX4 FS and 92XI LTT mods... It almost pisses me off. But I love them all for their own characteristics. But it lead me to get a K100X Trim and recently, a P1 Ultra. These GPs are good. Really good. They're like the KTM of pistols..Pull it out the box and just shoot it. No dumping money on upgrades required.... Unless you want a red dot... But in that case, get a MK23 GP....
I’ve had two and they have been BOTH problematic..FTFs and go into battery. Just got mine back from CANIK today…they replaced the guide rod and tuned the extractor…we’ll see if it’s fixed..I’ll carry my Shield Plus and AXG Legion until this thing can put 1000 reliable rounds through it
Can you try to put the mete sf slide on the tti lower? This would be a sick carry gun!
Many thanks
Hopped on the boat early, then left... seriously wanted to get back in,but the ship done caught the horizon👍
@@surveillancedevicemedia no longer are they the cheap alternative
Kitty :))
I hope so I got a case of it someplace around here
I always liked it
The only issue I ever had with Magtech is it does not work that well in my 9mm ETS speed loader. Can only do 5 rounds at a time instead of 10 (I think its the bullet ogive?), not the end of the world when the price of the ammo is right
My primary concern with handgun practice ammo is reliability. Have you considered running a survey on that? I suppose it might prove rather $$$-ish.
Unfortunately that would be very expensive, time-consuming, and also dependent on the firearm used and environment it's used in. On top of that ammunition can vary from lot to lot. I have seen a Canik fail to fire a round, then someone try it in a Glock and fail, then I put it in my Grand Power and it fired. Is it because hammer-fired hits better or because a primer was a little proud and the first two attempts knocked the primer into position?
@@gbgunsmedia I will contact you if I acquire a genie with a wish still in the chamber.
@@gbgunsmedia Primer hardness.
I prefer the Italian made Fiocchi. Started shooting it back in the late 1980s. It seems a wee bit spicier than the USA made fodder.
I haven't seen Italian Fiocchi handgun ammunition on the US market in a long time, but from one of our viewer's comments it appears that the European 124gr load is spiecier than the US 124gr load.
I've shot a fair amount of this ammo and never found problems with it. I can frequently find it for $13.99 / box of 50 at local big box sporting goods stores.
Only 10.99 at Aim Surplus. If you live close you don't have to pay shipping. It's north of Cincinnati.
@@Jscot1001 Too bad I'm not north of Cincinnati - that's about 600 miles round trip from my house🤓
Any plans to do a 10mm test. It would be interesting to see if there are any affordable full power loads
I did a few years back for a magazine article. The chart from that is in an older Depot post too: www.gbgunsdepot.com/post/10mm-the-best-millimeter
the other thing too about the pdp compact is that its modular so you can purchase a 5" barrel slide and slap that on the frame as well. I find that a huge plus. I just bought the 4" and CAN NOT wait to get this in my hands.
Thank you for sharing this information 😃.
Really? Give me some of that French ammo! S'il te plait et merci!
Coincidental that Fiocchi smell like pizza! 😂
That’s strange. Here in France,🇫🇷, they are the snappiest.
Fiocchi on the US market is made in the US. Is it possible yours is made in Europe?
@@gbgunsmediayes. Italie 🇮🇹.
@BECQERIC so I wonder if it's a different recipe
@@gbgunsmediathank you for your time answering me.
Been shooting a grip of this lately. Solid ammunition. Primers are a lil on the hard side. Thanks for the share!!
Between the 124g Fiocci, S&B, and CCI I will take the Fiocci every day.
It smells like pizza, screaming hot pizza! Cheers!
