Man, there must be so many people testing guns in the mud, everybody I meet in public is wearing a face-shield and gloves these days.
@@MellowFellowOfYellow Of course some american comes along and turns a funny comment into a political debate.
@@Waldherz I hope you are joking.
@@abonynge
Probably not, no need to drag in politics unless you just want to be that annoying guy at the party that people just drone out. The videos about testing a gun out, nothing political Karen.
@@tinkhuu6340 The man is clearly joking in his "political" statement
I guess im randomly asking but does anybody know a tool to log back into an instagram account..?
I somehow forgot my password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me
Smashes gun on the table to make bolt close. "The bolt has gone forward, the weapon has fired" Lol.
flooberjobby lol- I see what you did there
Just a standard safety test smacking the end of the barrel into the table, at least it didn't go off. That partially open design where that roller was exposed is curious why they left it exposed, though I am not suprised that it had so many problems in the test.
🤣 When your idiot friend has an unintentional discharge shooting his idiot friend , so you make a video showing why it wasn't their fault, but it totally "backfires" and shows you're an idiot like them! 👀
@@deanofthevale3193 Come on now, it's standard practice to smack the muzzle on the table in order to get it to chamber a round, apparently you never attended a hillbilly basic firearms class.
@@wilycoyote9091 I know thats a fact my good man 👍 But the first comment Quote "The bolt goes forward , the weapon has fired"
Is from an idiot from NFAC militia who had an unintentional discharge then did an idiotic video saying, " if the bolt goes forward on an ar15 the weapon has fired without pulling the trigger!" as the excuse 😂
Who would have thought that the most devastating part of the gauntlet test would be the garden hose.
*Note to self* self, field strip weapon then rinse off components separately!!
Indeed
Keep bringing more Gauntlet Test!!
@Tim: why don’t you test the SPA1 (the second you got with the updated spring that works 100%) to see what difference the roller delayed system makes vs straight blowback in the gauntlet? This is a rare opportunity to test the two different systems in the exact same gun!
I thought about this too, except that I don't think the problems the gun experienced had much to do with the roller delayed system. That said, I think this type of test is a roll of the dice. One gun that performed flawlessly one time, could crash and burn the next. The key to something being "scientific" is that it is repeatable under the same conditions and I don't know if that's exactly possible with this test. That said, call me easily entertained, because I think these videos are fun!
I was thinking the same but in hindsight I believe the A1 will probably act the same.
I believe that the problem lies in the tolerance of the upper receiver and the bolt. If the receiver was a bit larger and the bolt ran on some sort of rails it could function more reliably.
Just a thought, but I am no engineer by any means lol
@Joshua Bressel agreed.
Oh how I’ve miss the gauntlet tests!
He turns into a little kid when he starts the gauntlet test. Giggling the whole time
Rage TV yes he does , it could be fun
i just bought the A3 STRIBOG it jamed the first mag and a half on steel case ammo and was real stiff. I changed ammo to brass and fired 2 mags NO PROBLEM then i went back to steel mixed with brass there was no problem so only just over 100 rounds my buddy and i figured its NEW and tight just needed some breaking in but i still need to put another 200 -300 rounds to be sure i'll let you know....
Hell yea, the Gauntlet is back.
These videos are soooo fun to watch. And how professional Tim presents everything just makes it so much better!!
Finally !!! Nice to see this amazing series back !!! Looking forward to more tests !
This series has been missed. Thanks for bringing it back. You should do some concealed carry guns.
Not that I disagree with you but, God help you if your ccw has gone through dirt and mud like that, lol.
Any situation is possible 😅😅😅😅
Thank you for bringing back the gauntlet tests! That was the first thing I ever saw from you and it's what made me subscribe in the first place!
Thank You for that. Been waiting to hear more about this one.
Great vid Tim, thank you for putting it out.
Awesome test. Very happy to see you doing the tests again! Please do the cz scorpion.
I am glad you brought these back. hope to see more
Yes, thanks for bringing this back Mac!
Glad to see these are back!
Glad to see the return of the gauntlet!! Great channel guys, thanks for all the 2A work you do Tim!! Stay safe and God bless 🇺🇸☠️🇺🇸!!!
PSA AKV9MM and CZ Evo would be highly desired for the next test. Thank You
AKs do pretty poorly in these types of tests. While the blowback action of the PCC versions may help, I don't predict it doing well.
The Evo, that's in the air on how well it does.
The akv is a blowback
@@williamwallace9427 Yeah, that may help, but the fire control group is still exposed to debris ingress, as well as the rails for the bolt to ride on.
He already did the AKV, no malfunctions. Ran right through it. The video is un-listed. Someone posted it on Facebook, AKV group.
@@grasshoppercreations9308 I would like to see that one. I have seen so many videos where the AK doesn't do well in these kinds of tests, that seeing one just work would be nice.
Finally a Gauntlet video :) You got a Samsung Galaxy add on this one even.

You can literally pause these gauntlet tests at any point and just say "That's what she said." Keep up the good work Tim and Jason!
Glad to see these tests back in swing. Good stuff Bro, thumbs up ~John
FINALLY!!! I waited through the winter thinking that when the weather got nice The Gauntlet test would come back. In my opinion these are the most unbiased condition tests on RUclips. Love em.
I am impressed. I didn't think it would make it through the Gauntlet. And if you have never been to Copper Custom and happen to travel through the state as I did last year, I can vouch for the friendliest team and out going group of people we have met in our travels. My wife (1 year later) is still talking about you guys!
this is awesome. really looking forward to the kriss, banshee and apc9 videos like this!
Thank you for bringing back the gauntlet. I missed these so much
My favorite gun video series ever? With a gun I really, really wanna buy? MAC. You are my hero.
These videos are by far the most fun to watch content on RUclips.
OH, I'll be so glad when you can get your hands on the PSA Dagger and the PSA Jakl. That will be a good time.
Holy it makes a kick of the mixes.its well done.
Youre looking extra jolly today, mac. Thanks for the great content!
I love these kind of test, great job 👍
Did a lot better than I would of thought. Thanks MAC!
PCCs I'd like to see run through the gauntlet:
Uzi (any size)
9mm ar pistol (with a normal 9mm bolt, and the CMMG radial delayed bolt)
Maybe some pistol caliber lever actions?
9mm ak
Mp5
Cz scorpion (new and old)
B&T
Just to name a few
YES!!! I love the Gauntlet series!---Run everything through it!
WOW! IMHO, this little gal did rather well. Very impressive.
Before I watched the video I was sure it would fail right away from the sand getting in the roller delay. Considering the design of the roller delay open to the elements. I am impressed. Very cool video.
love the gauntlet tests, thanks
I have an A2 I love it, never had an issue, its always in my truck with me
Nice! Looking forward to seeing the CZ Scorpion, the MPX, and all the B&T sub guns.
I'm so happy to see the gauntlet back! I am planning on a PCC, but I'm gonna have to wait till I see more of them go through this. I would love to see the scorpion and the GHM9
U guy's really enjoyed the Gauntlet test .....we enjoyed to ...thanks for bring it back........i really want to see the PSA AKV 9mm and see how perform on this test
Appreciate the test MAC! I watch these gauntlet episodes like a hawk
Love these gun test videos. Been wondering if you're ever going to do one again.
The return of the garden hose cleaning :). Thanks Mac this video made my day, please keep em coming.
Very nice. Thanks for sharing
I always love Arts & Crafts time with Tim!
Surprised me how well it ran, but I think you did go it bit easy on it with the sand where I would have thought it had the most problems when it can go into the locking system from above.
Hey Tim this is another great video that you're providing the Firearms Community just wanted to give you a shout out and say Hey Brother. Thanks for all of the info you provide a lot of knowledge to the Firearms Community here thank you very much 🇺🇲💯
So excited for this series! Well done & thanks. I vote APC9 next. MPX, Scorpion, & banshee after that if possible
Almost quoted Paul Harrel on that "be the judge" part.
Yes great idea. I would like to see more like this and rifles as well. A good start would be with your new XCR. Please
I appreciate you Mac...
This changed my mind on this gun BIG TIME. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SAVING MY MONEY
Never been this early! Love what you do MAC. Thank you sir
Very nice to see return of my favourite series on the channel, and with PCCs. Is this christmas?
Could be great to see it with other carbines, something on AR platform, Sig MPX, KP-9 and/or others.
Love the gauntlets. So glad to see a new one.
Good one Mac thanks for the gauntlet
I have the old version and have beat it to death, other than a cracked magazine feed lip, mine eats whatever I load into it and functions flawlessly with a few torture tests I’ve run for reliability. It’s a great little weapon.
i like this test type. i i have been waiting for a long time. pls keep going, hi from turkey ❤️
Woooohoooooo gauntlet testing sooo glad to see its return
yess, stoked for the return of the gauntlet
It’s so good to see the return of the gauntlet test
YAAAS so happy to see the gauntlet back!
Thank you for correctly referring to the system as "roller-delayed". I'm genuinely relieved.
Great video thank you.
More, more, more tests please!
Cleaning these things fully after the fact must be a hell of a task, so I really thank you for being willing to do the tests for us regardless, especially now when ammo is so expensive and even when it's cold outside.
You should see some of Inrange's post wheelbarrow test cleaning vids they have, lol.
That was a surprise! Thought it would have choked! Nice to see it not fail. Good video.
Looking back at the gauntlets and everything short of the Rex Zero, I consider a firearm fairly GTG if you can do basic clearing and get it back to firing.
True failures come, imo, when the thing has to be field stripped for cleaning to get it back up and running.
Love seeing Gauntlets coming back!
I didnt even see the title except gauntlet test and clicked it right away and gave it a like.. I love gauntlet tests!!!!!!
Yes!! The gauntlet test!!
Gauntlet tests are my fave!
I’d be very interested to see how this test goes with the new SP10A3. Maybe with the higher pressures, it’d be able to overcome some of those issues. Great video! And gives my confidence in my soon to be purchase.
Thanks Tim, love the videos I would like request a one to be tested the army’s new sub gun
Would love to see how it compares to the older blowback design (non radial delay) version! Love your content!
Ha, that child like laugh when it exceeds his expectations.
Gauntlet's Back! Woo hoo! Haven't came this early since my high-school prom night!
You had me at Gauntlet. I was like, "oh shit! Gotta see it!"
I got really excited when I saw the gauntlet is back!
Me at the store: “mom can we get an SP-5???”
Mom: “no we have SP-5 at home.”
*the sp-5 at home*
This “style” of comments are soooo fucking dumb
The water may gotten the finer sediment that was pushed/trapped (mud and oil) with the ones in corners that allowed 'proper' action to flow more freely into nooks and crannies of the action.
Yes! The return of the gauntlet! 🔥
Great video! Informative? Yeah kinda, but DEFINITELY a lot of fun! The Stribog didn't do really horribly through the gauntlet, got a little hairy there at the end. Again, thanks for another great video!
The roller delayed blowback is a pretty resilient system. The G3 from the InRange mud test did quite well there also.
yeah, but the system of the Stribog is something different in contrast.
Do with the Uzi and doubtful you shall have any problems, however as I’m considering buying one of these this test very very interesting. Thanks
Never treat my firearms that way, but fun to watch!
He tests it out so you don’t have to!!!
I was starting to miss the gauntlet tests!
Heck yea finally more gauntlet test
The way he says, "Malfunction", after the gun jams reminds me of a father talking to child after being extremely disappointed with something they did.
"I'm not angry at you Stribog, just *disappointed* "
Now do the H&K MP5 so it upsets the Fan boys! 😁🤣😂
Please pretty please do the MP5s and HK Pistols, especially USP Series - Just maybe a Holy Grail like the Mark 23.
@@rifleshooterchannel208 Thank you for the heads up.
@@rifleshooterchannel208 The CZ P07 actually did a tiny bit better
I can’t wait til mine come in dude !!!!
Bring on more PCC gauntlet tests!
Glad to see a return of the gauntlet. Like a long lost friend has returned. A test of the I WILL Masada might be interesting.
I find the case ejection interesting as my a1 launches cases like it's try to break orbit while that a3 looked like it was barely chucking them out
Soooo glad the gauntlet returned!!!
love the gauntlet tests
-Dimitri
I think the gunk turned the roller-delayed system into a roller-locked (by dirt) system.
Seemed to do really well otherwise. Roller delayed seems to be almost a self-clearing system because it cycles so vigorously.
Hey everyone @MAC. Awesome to have the gauntlet back. Hey, you should raffle some of the gauntlet guns.....
