@@darrenminns3181 im using a 5/8 oz mate under there. Then hook size is just whatever suits the size plastic your using. Mostly im using a 5/0 or 6/0 on the 4-5 inch plastics 👍

@@peternelson7173 alot of the time i have to get them from motackle mate as heaps of the lures i use aren't stocked near me. Other option i spose is to see if your local tackle shop can order them in for u.

Glad u enjoy them mate, fun to make as im always out there anyway so why not just record it. Ive used trannys in the lighter models under 15 ft an they work well. I think the lighter ones are 12grams. Normally under 20 ft is my cutoff for the 20gram trannys then il switch to the 12 gram 👍

Cheers mate, i like rockwalls that have a bit of water flow along them. Seems to trap the bait a bit. An also look for eddies there usually great fish holding places on the run out tides.

There an interesting looking fish an a different fight on a lure mate. Wasnt sure what i had on. Yer newy harbour they usee to come in big numbers. Probably fished out these days.

The gopros are awful in low light an wind pete, ive bn using the drone more of late just seeing what it can do. Much steeper banks there to hide still gets windy once ur in the open but. An 4 undersize jewys is still decent mate id have taken them 🤣

Ive only fished off the beach at hawks nest mate. Got some tailor an salmon. At tea gardens ive fished the river a few times, i think there on previous videos somewhere. The bridge fishes ok there same around the oyster racks too. Really good spot for hardbodys for bream and flattys great structure for it. An if your using plastics theres plenty of rockwalls and small dropoffs to cast at most of the way through the system. A few marine park zones to watch out for but there.

That an dodging logs when moving spots 🤣 a bit sketchy when u watch full trees go past the boat almost under water. Got a few more spots but now stevo so im happy to gain info each trip an slowly work it out 👍

Im using a 5/8 mostly as im fishing at least 20-40 ft of water with current. Even when i fished bar point in 15 ft i used the heavy head just to feel the lure still. Tide rips hard there.

@@JordanFenech-cf4nc usually i start with almost 2 rod lenghts but im using an fg knot so its fine. If you dont use an fg i probably wouldnt do it that long as the knot will cause issues when casting 👍

The commotion was the pelicans, whatever they were feeding on there was alot of hence alot of pelicans. An in turn that food supply had the jewy there in numbers. Luckily i was there mate 🙌 best nights fishing ive had crebo 👍

Bit of an exploration mission mate looking for some good ground. I had time an conditions were perfect to do some searching. Still had time for a quick flick but as always 👍

Thanks mate, i do spend alot of time chasing schoolies hence the smaller profile lures. I guess as u would know there far easier to catch than 20kg plus fish. Dont get me wrong id love to spend all day out there chasing those donkeys but i have to catch something for content. An i think the more i can get there to fish i will learn the better spots to target the bigger jewies. I was looking for wrecks this trip mainly to try for kinigies but im always happy if a jewy comes along there a special fish. Thanks for watching mate and awesome catches youve got there 👍

Ive only had 3 trips there this bn the third, its bn really good for me so far. I didn't spend much time fishing there this trip i used alot of time out there searching for some wrecks so i had more spots to fish next time. Hopefully pays off mate 🤞

Its a daiwa certate 5000 with 20lb braid an 20lb leader. Rod was a samaki archer 15-30 lb mate. Lures varied from 4inch jackall rythm wave to jointed maekon swimbait etc

In this video mate im using a certate 5000 with 20lb platypus braid and 20lb daiwa leader. 7 ft samaki rod 15-30 lb but i dont really like the rod that much it was just a spare as my other rod unfortunately had the tip broken off by my boat hatch ages ago 😭 an havnt had the money to replace it yet.

@@danilovujanic3526 just put in lots of hours man. Its pretty much that simple, we used to put in huge hours at night just trying to learn the habits and tides an waterway. So many trips zero bites but kept at it an eventually worked out a decent pattern and its just gone from there. Its short term pain for long term gain 👍

Thats the lake but mate u gotta expect it. Anytime your on fish an ppl see your surrounded pretty quick.

Im still cheering about it mate. Probably wont happen again so enjoying it for now 🙌

@@joshparry2867 i cant even remember what night it was 🤣 the joy of having young kids and being sleep deprived mate. The moon was big but not sure if it was full. I never had anytime to worry about it i was catching too many to care 🤣 an it was mid tide i had most bites i remember the electric was going hard as on 7.5 most of the time.
