- Welcome back, in this episode i spend an entire day fishing around the wangi wangi area. Finally some unexpected good weather arrives as the wind that was predicted didn't eventuate. It was meant to be way worse mate but had a good little window there it wasnt blowing. Still the best time to be on the water but sunrise even when there not biting. So calm and peaceful. Thanks for watching as usual mate 👍

We had similar catches on Wednesday as well great as a great sunrise etc... tight lines 🎣
At least the wind was down so i coulld use the drone, which has bn rare the last few weekends. Great spot but there at wangi i agree. An the sunrise was epic 🙌

Much appreciated matty, ive bn working in better sound and picture etc an im like u the drone is always there but most of the time i dont unpack it so i made the decision to try to use it way more. I love the drone footage aswell gives a good perspective and its also fun to fly it. Thanks for watching mate im halfway through your new video should be able to watch the rest tomorrow night if the kids behave 👍

another banger video, i was up there recently it’s a beautiful spot of the lake.
I agree mate its a great spot there lots of nice things to see and usually a few fish about aswell to top it off.

Best time of the day crebo sunrise, the drone has bn getting more of a run of late. They took a while to get biting maybe they were too cold 🤣 got some in the end an definitely a bit of variety aswell. Thanks for watching Crebo 👍

I was happy mate just to fish for a few hours with no wind. Take the good conditions tony when i can because there few an far between 🤣 catching fish is always a bonus but i love just being out there so either way its a win 👍

I agree mate honestly ridiculous. An its not somewhere i would normally spend a day fishing, ive got plenty there in the past when its not after heavy rain non stop. Usually its a place i fish either early morning or if everywhere else is no good. Or like this trip if its the only option thats fishable away from the gale winds 🤣

Another great video Lowy, loving the Lake Mac content you're putting out. When you say turn of the tide at Wangi Point, how far behind Swansea heads is this in your opinion?
Thanks mate glad u enjoyed it. When its really windy at least i can hide in the lake a little bit. Plus the Hawkesbury is up the shit atm. An tide is maybe 20 mins behind there at wangi i know its around half hour difference at pulbah. So maybe 15-20 mins give or take. Not a bad spot there either usually can always manage some fish.
Hey Andrew, That sunrise looks excellent from the drone. I had about the same results as you on that Monday. No bites for the first 2 spots. Then only small flatties and reds at the next 2 spots before the wind blew up😒and I pulled the pin. I've never been north of Wangi Point. Are there more spots to hide from westerlys up there?
Was slow going pete, some good hiding spots that way behind wangi rathmines fishing point etc. certainly better than fishing out in the middle getting blown away. I like to relax out there these days 🤣 fishing can only improve from whats its bn aswell. Hopefully 🤞
Andrew with regards to my last comment in the session before this , I ment if you and Dave were to give it a red hot 🔥 go you could both clear out the lake. I watch every video you both share and know most of the time you both hardly ever take any fish at all
I think unless i plan to get a feed craig then the fish are pretty. I do like fish though and enjoyed the flattys last trip. Kingys are my favourite but from the lake. Delicious 😋
