Trying to find fish in the Southerly winds - Anzac day Fishing.

Headed out on Anzac day for a fish, with a south westerly wind blowing i headed to the western side of Lake Macquarie down near Toronto to hide as much as i could. With 30kph wind expected i tucked into what started out as a calm area only for the wind to swing in from the south east. Having never fished that area i used my sidescan to find some fish holding structure and managed some good ones before the wind was just too annoying. Had some audio issues due to the excessive winds so lost alot of footage as it was unusable with the wind niose. To stay updated remember to like an subscribe for all upcoming videos. Hey Andrew, shut down, windy and cold alright on Anzac day. At least you got some👍 You got one more flatty than me. Highlight of the day for me was the jet fly-by. Although I did manage to find 3 more sunken boats in 10m during the morning.

I seen the jet pete but was further away u must've bn south more. I couldn't even go anywhere it was that windy 🤣 always good to find some new wrecks but.

That western side would have been the only sheltered spot, i thought it was supposed to be more south, but wasnt until midday. Got a few in the yak

Started out ok but it changed direction an just stuffed up where i was fishing. Really just took away all my options to go anywhere else. Small boats struggle in that chop as do kayaks. At least u got some mate it was tough out there 👍

Andrew , what are those wraps that you have around the lures at 9`15 when they are still on the rod and not being used ? Look like a great idea.

There old shimano lure wraps ive had those for 10 years or more i recon. Pretty handle an save tangles.
