Fishing Lake Macquarie- with Leigh.

- With my boat in for a service an late,i was boatless for the weekend. Until leigh invited onto his, we hit the lake early on sunday an after some running sounder repairs an quick how to use etc we got amonst some fish. The weather was great but the bites were slow with the moon out the night before an a glassed out day with the bright sun above. Not the best conditions but we enjoyed the day. They have bn really reliable at least. Sometimes day savers aswell with the jewfish still somewhat quiet. Thanks for watching mate 👍

Thanks alot Reg, this time i was lucky to have leigh there. Otherwise i wouldve bn bank fishing cause my boats off getting serviced an they had to order a part for it. If its ready by the weekend id say il head to pittwater again maybe.

Haha yer he got a few cockles an some shells that day. It was a slow long day we did actually catch a few more fish but we had given up an turned the cameras off. Maybe that started the good bite. Either way it was nice to get out there have a few laughs and catch some fish.

Hey Andrew, You made a guest appearance on a mates boat and out-fished him😂Lucky you're mates.🤣 I was out on the same morning finding it tough too. Only managed the same smaller flatties and about 7 squid (on vibes) .....must have been that moon🤔
Its never a good moon phase for fishing but if thats the only chance we can go then thats wen it is. I did see u out there sitting deeper we wernt far away from u there at 1 point. He got a feed at least so he was happy and i fixed his sounder up aswell and showed him a few things. Was a nice day on the water at least weather wise pete 👍

No mate i dont burley. I just look for baitfish or just fish the marks in my sounder 👍

Mate ive had that lure for maybe 5-6 years or more i cant even remember where i got it. Best bet would be online but id say they would be hard to get unfortunately.
