My wife and I just watched a witness telling a reporter that he saw the guy on a roof and told the police right away. We were wondering why there was no immediate radio communication informing SOMEONE that they've got reports of suspicious activity on a rooftop, and they need to get eyes on? Bad police work.

This seems fishy. A witness in the crowd was interviewed and said they saw the gunman crawling onto a building for minutes and were yelling to security. How did the agents on other roof tops not notice? Seems VERY suss.

A witness being interviewed by a BBC reporter was saying that he saw the man climbing the roof and attempted to alert police and secret service. To which he was ignored. He also asked why there were people on a bunch of roofs nearby, but not that one. The clip I saw of it was being aired on FOX.
