Lake Macquarie fishing - back on the water chasing jewfish/mulloway.

- A lazy sunday spent on Lake Macquarie using the trusty jackall transam casting my way around the lake looking for jewfish/mulloway. Also decided to cook up a flathead while i was out there an enjoyed some shade on pulbah island.

haha first thing I thought of when I woke up and heard the wind smacking our windows was you being out there. Kicked up hard for a bit. You did well as per usual
When i got out there i was expecting calm conditions 🤣 as per usual that was wrong. Got wet heading out couldn't see the chop direction in the dark so luckily got some fish to make up for it.
@@Lowysfishing yeah it must have been a squall as it hit hard and well over what was predicted. This Saturday looks alright

Hey Andrew, that wind was the exact opposite direction and strength of what was forecast. I went past you in the dark on the western side early and then again on the eastern side later on. I thought you must have got a few as you were still on the same spot🤫 At that stage I hadn't even got a bite an hour in😒 After I moved, I ended up getting a small jewfish and a few big flatties, 71, 72, and 82. one had a tag in it. First fish I've ever got with a tag. I'll upload the video soon, but you've towelled me up as per usual with them jewfish👍
I agree pete, also got wet on the way out as the chop was much bigger than expected. I only had 2 bites in the first 3 hours so very lucky with what id caught. An iv never caught a tagged fish surprisingly. There great flattys mate cant wait to watch the video 👍
Hi Lowy I have Been following you for from the start love you videos and fishing techniques I do love the Jackal Transams but have been loosing the Eyes off them can you just get new Eyes for them also not a big fan of the treble hooked they use would be awesome to here back from you cheers Steve
Maybe send them a msg on instagram an see if they can send u some eyes out. I glue mine up when i get them so they never fall off an seems to work good. I dont change the trebles until there fairly used but i do that with all trebles. I like the sharpness of them thats why i use them an im only running 15lb braid so no dramas with them bending at all either. Glad u like the videos mate should b plenty more to come aswell 👍

@@user-ub3ur8gj5x i just use super glue mate. Then let it dry then put it in the tackle box ready to go. I dont put them back in the tackle box until the glue is set either.

Yer i did ok saturday aswell an left at 10.30 am to beat the wind an crowds. I cant stand a packed boat ramp 🙄
