- Lure fishing in Lake Macquarie using soft vibes - jackall transam. How i fish the vibe to get the best results. Only a quick session unfortunately the wind blew me off the water.

Awesome vid mate. I fish the lake a couple times a week but still haven’t caught a Jew. Your tips are helpful though and I can tell the general area you fish so I’ll just keep casting in those places and hope for the best. I even went out and bought the same transams you use 😂

Was a good bite early then went quiet wayne, then boom on a good fish then windy. Cant win em all unfortunately i was planning a big day.

Hey Andrew, Good size jewfish that one 👍weird how they don't all fight the same . What about that wind that blew up not long after we spoke. I packed it in at that stage. Cant wait to see you catch something on that swim bait you showed me, it was bigger than some of the fish I caught today🤣
I did the same pete headed for the exit. Got battered going back to toronto ramp but. Yer no big initial runs on that fish, happy all the same to catch it. An yer i cant wait to see what attempts to eat that lure. Should b big hopefully 🤞

Thanks Rodney, the wind is worse than the rain i recon. Just makes it impossible to move around the lake an even fish properly.

I went to Blowering dam over the weekend dam to low to put boat in got bogged.
So fished of the bank ended up with a 81cm murray cod.

Hey Michael, i use no knot fas-snaps on the vibes definitely doesnt affect the action. I use the xl size in silver.

What sort of rod and reel size would you recommend fishing vibes
Im just using a 7,3 rod but 7 ft is fine an either a 2500 or 3000 is perfect mate. An most likely around 10-15lb braid is good allround size for most things.

Hey what combo are you running
That combo was a jackall bpm 7,3 rod 4-10 lb braid an 15lb leader. Reel is a twin power 3000. Good vibe rod feels everything an casts a mile. Had the reel for about 10 years now those things dont go wrong if u look after them 👍

@@eastoncrilley233 no worries mate. I recently got a new shimano vanford 2500 and put some 10lb power pro on it. Seems decent so far anyway. Its on a 4-10 rod aswell.
