Finally back on the water-Lure fishing for jewfish and flathead.

- With the boat all sorted and a weekend off from work i finally got back out there after fixing the electric motor and re carpeting the deck an extending the cast deck. I hit the flats at stockton and also newcastle harbour in search of some fish throwing vibes and hardbodys.

Thanks alot Chris ive missed being out there an doing the videos. Was great to get into some fish again aswell an the boat has way less clutter now which helps an i can fit way more stuff in now aswell.

Good work on the boat mods Andrew👌 More storage is always good. When you work out why the GoPro turns itself off at the wrong time, let me know, as it happens to me too😂 I went out on Sunday morning in Lake Mac, but could only get small flattys around 45 and stacks of them. Thought there would be bigger ones amongst that many smaller ones, but only one bigger one went 72🤔
It kept doing it aswell, even went black a few times on the display an i constantly had to restart it. Bit annoying really. Yer lots of small flattys about but much better than getting no fish at all. 72cm is a great flatty aswell mate 👍

The boat turned out ok im happy with it. Yer no down time is rough i hate not being able to go fishing 🤣 the money reg did come in handy but to fix it all up.

Thanks Craig, i know what your saying. I do have slow trips aswell but i think the amount of time Ive spent on the water definitely comes in handy. I can normally at least get some numbers of smaller fish when the big ones dont want to play 👍 good luck out there mate.

Just working mate big day big hours. So hard to fish when im at work all the time 🤣 so used the money to sort out the boat at least. So not all bad but definitely rather b out fishing more.

Sunday stevo, an took me a while to get a feel for all of it 🤣 that weed was everywhere and the flattys dont seem to like it much. I was glad to be fishing anyway and catching again good to be on the water with everything all sorted out. Boats alot more fishable now aswell its great 🙌

Its a new ram mount kainan, rock solid it doesnt move at all probably the best mount ive had 👍 definitely good to b back out there.

I was using a twin power 3000 with 10lb braid and 15lb leader on a jackall bpm 7,3 rod rated 4-10lb mate 👍
G’day Andrew i was wondering if you could give me a some advice, I have a 15lb to 40lb rod could you recommend a Daiwa reel to match (5000 size) I was thinking a “MQ SALTIST Or a certate what do you think , I will be using “soft vibes” chasing “jewfish” thanks mate , Paul.
I have a certatte 5000 paul bought it a few months back its an absolute weapon of a reel. Its not to heavy either to cast all day. Super smooth great drag and can handle bigger jewys aswell as kings etc i

I havnt had that yet mate but i try to not fish if theres boats tied up. If there isnt any boats but surely it should be ok but i guess il find out at some point.
