- Spent the morning lure fishing around multiple places for terrible results,small fish and barely any bites. Heading back to the ramp i noticed something in the water. Quickly grabbed my surface lure i had rigged up let a cast rip an my whole day was saved. Hopefully u legends enjoy the video an like an subscribe if u want to stay updated on future episodes.

Thanks 🙏 i kept a close eye on that rain i didnt want to get soaked out there. All the kings ive caught in the lake itself have bn right place right time and having that lure ready to go. I fish alot but in the open waters so i dont often get the chance for the kingies. Glad u enjoy the videos thanks for watching 🙏

Ive been out there got bugger all the last 5 sessions still trying to work the lake out but still beats working thats for sure
Its one of those places if u land on the right place u do well but if not just a struggle all day. I havnt bn catching that much myself really mate either. It happens 🤷♂️ so much better than work couldn't agree more.

Thanks John, im using a lowrance elite ti2 does the job for me. Its 3 years old now but never missed a beat. Sidescan can save u so much time when looking for spots an baitfish. Definitely worth getting it id say 👍

Mate i was trying everywhere for some fish but couldnt get a decent fish or bite. Good results in the end at least 👍
what's the spot for the kingy im new to the coast and the lake is bit daunting to get around. Mean catch by the way
The lakes a big place mate hard to navigate it when u first start fishing there. The kingies move around all the time inside the lake so i wouldnt call it a kingy spot but that was around wangi area. The swansea bridge usually has kingies more frequently 👍

@@peternelson7173 alot of the time i have to get them from motackle mate as heaps of the lures i use aren't stocked near me. Other option i spose is to see if your local tackle shop can order them in for u.

What setup for the kingy?
That was on my heavier setup matty, certate 5000 20lb braid an 30lb leader. I think a samaki archer rod 10-20lb. Rods not great to be fair i only bought it as id snapped my other rod in the boat front hatch 😩
how did you know it was there?
I just noticed something in the distance on the water so slowed up a bit and seen some bust ups. Then i got there an they were gone but i cast anyway in hope an there it was 🙌
