3200:2166 is not 1:1 UCLK:FCLK. You seem to indicate that power comparison is unfair bc intel has more cores, but if the performance is achieved with less cores, then I see it as points for the leaner cpu. And my observations with 9800x3d is that gaming scenarios keep it below 100W, gotta retest without PBO, but playing with DDR5 8000/UCLK2000, there is a potential for some really low wattages/more power budget for the cores..

I was watching the end, is the only way to achieve a 6600 MHZ if you run a 6400MTs RAM? Right now I have a 6000MTs Memory with 2200 FCLK, is that 6000MHZ? Is it still considered 1:1 Mode on a 6000MTs at 2200 FCLK or only if it's set to 2000 FCLK?

I’m confused, why is 6400 able to have 1:1 mode of 3200 but a 8000 has to have 1:1 mode of 2000? Why can’t 8000 have a 1:1 mode of 4000?

the real difrence is that 8000mhz you can run at 1.05v vsoc and 6400mhz 1:1 you need minimum 1.25v.

Everything above 6000mhz cl30 is wasted money thrown in a dumbster. Having 1-2% better performance for 50-100€ more? Common.

Testing RAM speed on X3D cpus is like testing how fast are wheels on a helicopter. Its X3D cpu for a reason - if you want to do legit test - test the non-X3D versions.

What a bollock test. Ofc theres not gonna be a big difference on CPUs with large 3D Vcache.. test it on CPU like Ryzen 7600/7700/7800(x) and u will see the differences between memory speed frequencies!

Is it actually realistic they release a 5090ti/Titan? There were rumors of a 4090ti as well, but that card never saw a release. What makes it different this time around?

Also you can divide the AI performance with ~2 for the new cards. Nvidia's data is about fp8 (4xxx) vs fp4 (5xxx).

I'm sorry but Oli's picture clarity is much better than yours, I will opt for a better picture over performance every time unless my frames consistently drop bellow 60fps as that's all my monitors will support anyway, anything above 60fps on my monitors is using my GPU unnecessarily, it doesn't even matter that much any way, until the game is fully optimised there is literarily no point in measuring d**k sizes, My son has a 2080Ti and I have a 4070Ti and the game runs on both machines at 60fps no problem, when the server allows of course, this myth that the higher frame rate is better on monitors that cant even process the extra frames is getting annoying, there have been papers written that prove it, on higher Hz monitors of course, you want to match with your monitor ever time, but from all the people I no who have Pc's not one of them has a monitor that can support over 60 to 75 Hz.

Yup, I am sitting at i5-9700k + 2080ti that I build during covid, now I am slowly noticing need to lower quality to maintain fps. I would be most probably looking to pick up discounted 4070 Ti Super and pair it with Ryzen some sort

Ray tracing is what’s bogging down performance. So it makes sense to boost there. For games that don’t use ray tracing, they’re likely able to run quickly as is.

Listen, Jensen had already spoke about where their primary focus was going to be with the release of the 50 series and it was... you guessed it, with RT and AI. They are focusing on increasing quality and performance of all-things AI related on that board as more and more of us are utlizing AI locally on our machines while simultaneously offering up a very respectable frame rate increase in the process. Raster performance will almost certainly be near stand-still and a thing of the past as AI saturates EVERYTHING and takes over. EVERYTHING will be AI overlays, AI embeddings, AI in every corner of every function you will interact with.

to be fair raster is technicly fake frames to its just older tech eventully when dlss is main stream and none use raster anymore and it comes some new tech after peaple will call that fake to in some point since alot of peaple hate new tech

Nice analysis. Well done sir. In my opinion, if the rt performance is noticeably better, as in the performance loss for enabling it is less, im mostly ok with that. I knew it would have to happen at some point. As for frame gen 4, as long as the latency isnt bad, whatever. I think it's still a gimmick, and probably wouldn't use it imo, dlss 3 is enough for me and does a fine job, but who knows, if that latency is passable i might, considering getting one of these 50 series..... Maybe, so we shall see.........
