    Great vids, I have ddr5 would lkve to see how that scales, and please consider making an in depth video on ram timings tuning and cpu as well! My 13600k is oc at 5.5 ghz but sits at below 50% and does not boost to that frequency in SC mostly as I believe the 3070 is holding it back.

    Your watercooler aio pump gonna break like that , because air boubbles will travel up to the pump and create air pocket right in the pump and its not gonna pump no liquid

    How much would cpu cache help? With the new amd ryzen X3d series coming out it might be a good option if memory is the biggest bottle neck here.

    In your description you stated everything was set to max at 1080p; Ive never played SC so excuse my ignorance but given there is no mention of ray tracing is it correct to presume SC does not support it?
    If so, I’m shocked at how low the FPS levels are for such a high end system even overclocked at only 1080p.
    I’m only curious because I’ve been contemplating trying out SC for some time and it sounds like my system might struggle.

      The game is currently still cpu intensive as the devs only recently started moving to a new rendering engine that will allow them to add more modern features like vulcan and so on, down the line. Ray tracing, dlss and so on are not yet supported. He did also test this in a Landing zone which is a hub area that tends to be very busy with players and npcs. So this is where the fps is the lowest. Can get a 50%-what 150% fps bump at other locations

    Did they fix the stutters issue with using the E cores on the newer Intel CPUS? Im using a 12900k and whenever I dont disable the E cores the game stutters a lot, the FPS is high and stable but the game won't stop stuttering. After I disable the E cores and run only the P cores, everything runs smooth and at the same and stable fps. Did you have problems with the E cores on this game?

    • @gamedaytoday1
      @gamedaytoday1  Год назад +2

      Yes e-cores is still a problem, I made a full video about it here: ruclips.net/video/80cvupbZmTI/видео.html
      I don't think they are going to fix it any time soon.

    Worth noting that the GPU is only being used 50% in 1080p so this is how much the CPU is being held back by ram and star citizen being unoptimized

      you will get 10% boost for 5600hz, beter to use 7800x3d + with cahe to have more avg fps, bc they say we will fix intel`s cpu in sc and give full perf, but time gone and 0 profit.

    ruclips.net/video/2jmcHnkVnqg/видео.html Yeah, it always gets me when someone says this game is CPU bound in stead of IO bound. It has been IO bound for years, long before they started pushing builds with Gen12 features. Ever try playing the game on a HDD? IO bound + thread contention = CTD

    • @GioCTRL
      @GioCTRL Год назад +2

      First time here hearing about IO bound scenarios and the term ctd, could you give a quick explanation on what these terms mean? Coming from someone that always thought of things only being gpu or cpu bound ever

      @@GioCTRL Seems they are talking about Disk IO, and crashes to desktop. Most modern games of decent scale should not be run on a HDD these days, as that would be absolute torture. Bad news with basically all Simulation type games.
