I’d say he was just cautious as an unfamiliar event had happened, but considering he’s a sovreign who brute force defeated the narwhal with elemental energy instead of using abyssal power…thats kinda like beating a boss with 95% dmg reduction to hydro and he did it lmao.

@@ItsJustT exactly! The story quest had no REAL purpose it was to made to reinstate the things we’ve already been told about her. When you give a character a story quest it should be used to flesh out their character give us a new outlook on them or just develop them. Her story quest does none of those things. It’s just answers questions. We already had answers to to begin with. It didn’t develop her character. Didn’t leave us with more questions. It did nothing for her in my humble opinion. But hey my RUclips is unpopular opinion for a reason 🤷‍♀️idk

@@unpopularopinion3539 actually making her a fatui harbinger is pretty important in my opinion. She's next to useless in the Fontaine archon quests, and it isn't like they could go and change them afterwards, so that was the next best thing, and it was pulled off in a way that maintained her in game appeal and out of game appeal simultaneously

@@ItsJustT her story request wasn’t even about her 💀. Like I said they regurgitated the info and spit it back out, but with cooler animations and slightly better storytelling. All I’m saying is she disappointed me. I was so hype for her but was just disappointed because the genshin writers are all monkeys looked in a basement that get fed when they write something thats readable, and she was already a harbinger was she not? TBH I just wanted her to be a psycho like the voice lines hinted at her being instead we get watered down garbage none of the voice lines talking about her is actually her fr. Wanna know what would have been better if we got to see her true crazy side. Or see her be more graceful and forgiving like how the og better mom was. Unpopular opinion, but I would’ve rather gotten the original “father” than this emo skunk.

I'd argue none of the out-of-game content are necessary to follow the story. Not only that, most of the information in them have been introduced in the game one way or another. We will eventually meet all Harbingers, so the Winter Night Lazzo isn't necessary. Arlecchino told us everything we need to know about her past, so her short is unnecessary. Collei's backstory is pretty much entirely irrelevant to the game's story, as none of the events from there were important to understand anything in the game (expect how Collei and Amber met, but that's not the important as well in the overall narrative), and her condition was explained in-game. So on and so on. I'd only say the experience from playing the game alone and playing while also watching outside content are different. Not necessarily better or worse, but different. For example, someone who didn't what Arlecchino's short would be more involved in the mystery of who the pink-haired child is. Us, who already watched the short beforehand, knew exactly who she was from the get-go. I, at least, guessed what was going on in the quest rather early due to that, "ruining" the final reveal. Of course, to compensate, it felt good in a different way, as all puzzle pieces started fitting together, as a larger world started feeling more whole. Not once Genshin's story RELIED on us knowing something from outside content. Like, for example, it would be if we suddenly started talking to Wriothesley as if we already met him, and used hints the game never presented us to investigate a mystery, only to find out the Traveler met him and got some hints from him during an animated short. All information we get from outside is either only extras for delving deeper than we need into characters, or "spoilers" for things to come, which we'll learn later in-game. So no, I don't think these shorts are a bad thing. Hoyo can tell the story they want and we need, while also giving treats to encourage people to engage in the community, which furthers the game's reach through organic marketing.

@@SirZelean this is also very true. I think at the end of the day nothing will matter. However, from a present moment standpoint, specific things like teasers will matter such as A Winter Night's Lazzo if you want to have certain bits of information now rather than later. However, there's nothing wrong with that at all, and honestly presents alot of freedom over how you digest content overtime, similar to watching certain anime in different order, or playing certain games in different orders like Yakuza or Danganronpa

@@ItsJustT personally, I think Pantalone is gonna only appear in Snezhnaya. Why? Cuz as Arlecchino mentioned in the winter night’s lazzo, the heartless dignitaries find excuses to stay in the homeland, referring to Pulcinella and Pantalone as the dignitaries, and Snezhnaya as the homeland.

@@ItsJustT I assume all the harbingers will end up playable(aside from Signora, rip). Yes, even the made to be hated Dottore, if for no other speculative reason than just that the Harbingers can have voice lines about the other Harbingers.

@@Doro-bashi that's what I'm iffy on. As I mentioned in video, this is the first fatui harbinger fight in a story quest rather than archon quest, but it shouldn't be too major considering the effect of it IS mostly on her and the house

Most likely they’ll force you to do her quest before continuing whatever act of the Natlan quest you are on.
