personally... we have never seen Arleccino as a harbinger. we have only seen her as father. we have yet to see her when she is in front of her enemies.... as far as we know. she was careful with neuvillette. she may not know who neuvillette was but i think she already had an idea that he was someone she could not defeat or the fatui can ever defeat. hence she was very very careful with how she acted in fontaine. she may be insane when outside of fontaine though and that is what the harbingers know

Speaking on Arlecchino being present in Snezhnaya, I feel like it’s a given that all the Harbingers that are currently aligned with the Fatui are going to make an appearance in Snezhnaya, as important main characters of that arc. Personally, I’m hoping the Snezhnaya arc focuses on the ones we’re less acquainted with though, as they definitely should be fleshed out as characters. For example, Columbina, who is also fairly hyped up and mystified by the in game dialogue of the playable harbingers, with the confirmed Third ranking Harbinger being a mysterious dangerous person that not even the battle crazy murder hobo Childe would want to fight. Ooh, and Sandrone. I assumed we’d see more of her in Fontaine, due to the massive ass robot that she has, but nah, nothing, except maybe an off hand line somewhere in the story(or a side quest, not entirely sure) about how Sandrone doesn’t wanna be enemies with the Traveler. Who knows, maybe, but unlikely because of Capitano, one of the aforementioned mysterious harbingers will make an appearance in Natlan.
@@ItsJustT personally, I think Pantalone is gonna only appear in Snezhnaya. Why? Cuz as Arlecchino mentioned in the winter night’s lazzo, the heartless dignitaries find excuses to stay in the homeland, referring to Pulcinella and Pantalone as the dignitaries, and Snezhnaya as the homeland.

As a player who loves Klee... it's mostly because she was my first five star. Admitedly if I did not have her I probably would not care, but as someone who mained Klee for 3 years (i now play kokomi more often for co-op domains but I still use Klee in abyss when it favors her) she has a special place in my heart
If i remember right in version 4.0 they added new dialogue from momoyo after the completion of the secret fortune slip quest about how the poisioning plot in inazuma was a plot between the teacher and the previous knave.
I agree with a majority of your points. I think Arle's SQ was one of the better ones (though admitedly the bar isn't that high). I do enjoy how Arle chose to end the battle and let the Traveler go after she showed the true extent of her power. I think it's easy for players to forget that for most of the story, the Traveler has been assisted by other characters and most major battles are won with help. With Arlecchino? The Traveler clearly stood no chance, especially with the characters who were helping him. I can only hope they continue this trend for the other higher ranked Harbingers. I do have one big gripe with Arle's SQ, though. I do think the animated short, while a great idea, should've been included in the game as a cutscene. Not every Genshin player pays attention to social media, let alone Genshin's YouTuve account. And in my opinion, they shouldn't have to. Nowadays, a lot of media required you to seek out supplementary material to get the full story. And Genshin's been guilty of this for a long time (eg. Diluc and Collei's backstories). It can be debated, but I don't think it's a good thing. A lot of the weight of Arle's story comes from the animated short and knowing what she had to witness and had to sacrifice. Instead, in the game they chose to retell her backstory using still images and a lot of exposition. And that takes away a lot of the impact.
I'd argue none of the out-of-game content are necessary to follow the story. Not only that, most of the information in them have been introduced in the game one way or another. We will eventually meet all Harbingers, so the Winter Night Lazzo isn't necessary. Arlecchino told us everything we need to know about her past, so her short is unnecessary. Collei's backstory is pretty much entirely irrelevant to the game's story, as none of the events from there were important to understand anything in the game (expect how Collei and Amber met, but that's not the important as well in the overall narrative), and her condition was explained in-game. So on and so on. I'd only say the experience from playing the game alone and playing while also watching outside content are different. Not necessarily better or worse, but different. For example, someone who didn't what Arlecchino's short would be more involved in the mystery of who the pink-haired child is. Us, who already watched the short beforehand, knew exactly who she was from the get-go. I, at least, guessed what was going on in the quest rather early due to that, "ruining" the final reveal. Of course, to compensate, it felt good in a different way, as all puzzle pieces started fitting together, as a larger world started feeling more whole. Not once Genshin's story RELIED on us knowing something from outside content. Like, for example, it would be if we suddenly started talking to Wriothesley as if we already met him, and used hints the game never presented us to investigate a mystery, only to find out the Traveler met him and got some hints from him during an animated short. All information we get from outside is either only extras for delving deeper than we need into characters, or "spoilers" for things to come, which we'll learn later in-game. So no, I don't think these shorts are a bad thing. Hoyo can tell the story they want and we need, while also giving treats to encourage people to engage in the community, which furthers the game's reach through organic marketing.

However, from a present moment standpoint, specific things like teasers will matter such as A Winter Night's Lazzo if you want to have certain bits of information now rather than later. However, there's nothing wrong with that at all, and honestly presents alot of freedom over how you digest content overtime, similar to watching certain anime in different order, or playing certain games in different orders like Yakuza or Danganronpa
it's not related only to Arle but...Traveller is in trouble because without help he/she could not defeat Shogun and then Arle was another difficult opponent to our loved Travellers so...without power beyond the stars we are probably only trigger for something and without us two big forces will not fight i mean world and um that floating crap on the fake sky what about abyss? well i have a feeling about fatui and abyss collaborating to some degree or have the same goal at least

I think the comments wanderer and child made on arlecchino being um-trustworthy were because they didn't know that the knave changed ? maybe child abslutely didnt know that the knave changed and i think wanderer left before arlecchino became the knave

When you give a character a story quest it should be used to flesh out their character give us a new outlook on them or just develop them. Her story quest does none of those things. It’s just answers questions. We already had answers to to begin with. It didn’t develop her character. Didn’t leave us with more questions. It did nothing for her in my humble opinion. She's next to useless in the Fontaine archon quests, and it isn't like they could go and change them afterwards, so that was the next best thing, and it was pulled off in a way that maintained her in game appeal and out of game appeal simultaneously
