I don't land in puddles, but live in the UK which means wet grass and mud all year round, fried one quad first time when I touched down on damp grass as I hadn't waterproofed it. Great video, have been using the Flywoo Squirty Waxy stuff. Plus point of that is I got it in the USB port and to get it out I just got a lighter and melted it off.

Issues binding - works in Betaflight 4.5 but does not arm(HDZERO Mobula 6 ECO and Mobula 6 Freestyle) I bought BNF HDZERO Mobula 6 ECO and Mobula 6 Freestyle and I also use Radiomaster Pocket. I managed to update all of them to newest ELRS and setup binding phrase. Both Whoops bind and respond to all inputs when connected to Betaflight but then I unplug it I am having issues. Mobula 6 Freestyle HDZero does not arm at all. I guered it out that this whoop is SPI and does not have wifi. Mobula 6 ECO HDZero jumps when I push arm but nothing after that. This one strangelly UART and have WIFI. I watched every Bardwell ERLS and Betaflight video and many other tutorials. Spend hours going through manuals with ChatGTP 4o but despite numerous troubleshootings - I was unable to make it work. I am getting feed on my HDZERO Goggles and telemetry works on Pocket. I also have Boxer and Zoro and the same issue with them too. At this point, I learned a lot but still unable to make it work.

Thank you^2 I was at a loss why my Nazgul would violently spin on the Yaw axis everytime i started my drone. Then you mentioned re-calibrating the flightcontroller and yep, the drone didn't react to yaw movement. I calibrated it and now it's fixed. :)

I want to put O3 on my nazgul5 v3 (Blitz F722 fc). It does not have dedicated input jack but it has 5 pin with 9v/G/TX/RX/V0. So my idea, in order to avoid soldering, is to take 5pin connector, take 4 wires from O3, plug them into 5pin connector (leaving 5th - V0 empty) and also cutting away those 2 extra wires (G and SBUS). Is this gonna be fine, or missing some of those wires will cause a problem. I am pretty sure that SBUS is not a problem as it is only for DJI controller (which I don't plan to use), but what about missing that second ground?

I just became a member in hopes someone can tell me what to do when I look on the CLI for the gyro model...but all it says is "gyros detected: locked". It's a brick wall for me. If anyone can help me I'd really really REALLY appreciate it.

I get as far as where he says in the status section it lists the accelerometer and gyro...but it doesn't. It just says gyro...locked. Can anyone please help me...I'm going nuts here.

7:00 Sim flying is important, but I disagree with what he said here. I did "flipidy flops" first in free flight and taught myself to control the drone before even looking at the simulated race courses. I think this approach is important because this way I was able to learn the basics of turning and holding altitude - necessary skills for completing a course - without discouraging myself. And no, I didn't "ruin my neural pathways." Not that I'm a neuroscientist, but I don't think that's how the human mind works. To anyone starting on a simulator, my advice is to just log time. Spend as much time as you can with your fingers on the sticks and the drone in the virtual air, and your brain will learn how to control it. Then, once you've built a foundation of muscle memory, set yourself to bigger tasks like completing a course. That's what worked for me personally.

What about airmode, I just don't use it on my builds because the first time I ever did the thing kept spooling up after I raised the throttle. Is that normal, is there any reason I shouldn't be able to use airmode?

If someone was stood watching your drone flip around like that they would definitely think you've lost control of it lol do you get many complaints:P the way you fly is unique i might build this though will all the parts you listed in description is there any chance of getting the PID dump file. I just haven't got a clue 1 bit about how to PID tune a quad lol.
