Not gonna lie I was hoping you were going to show yourself cooking thick bacon in a bacon suit singing "down with the thickness!" 😂 awesome overview and video Curtis! It's exciting to see the form factor improvements as well as the durability and layout. HDZero we are ready to see the 20x20 1.5 watt vtx!
I've said before, I want 1+watt in a dual pcb 20mm still like the vista. Not enough frame options, and the added durability of being completely tucked in the frame would be awesome. Vista style would allow 1watt even in a 3" quad. Talk to the man. We need this lol
good to see Hd ze ro still listening to the community.Ii have not seen any replacement goggle foam but have seen them tear scrunch up near the nose and ide hate to try fly with that prickly velcro rubbiin my raw bacon. thanx for sharin brother from a different mum.. hehe so dont get burnt or set texas alight if you sawn burn, im assuminng the battery willbe plugged in far away or not hahaha! if you do the bacon aio cut.love ya bro, be safe.if i was 30~~25 years younger and not so mangled i would buy that fc for sure. with foxeers new 5w, would be nice to see a 1or 1.5 watt oh exacttly whatt michaelwilson said 3inch 5inch,make it work hdzero you know you want to! dont know how to fix tha t top bit on this tv its going over the ballcony soon grr
Some replacement goggle foam would be great! With the way the heat has been around here lately.....I just basically dont go outside at all if I don't have to, lol. I would seriously love to see an HDZ VTX that is in more of a Vista form factor and outputs 1.2W to 1.5W on the top end. That would be a serious game changer for adoption with freestyle on their system! I think if the penetration was a bit better without having to crank down the resolution or frame rate, people would care a little less about he minor image quality difference over other systems.
Hey Bacon, HDZERO DID make an improvement on the Freestyle. My first one had the plug tear out (was pretty loose from the factory) and the replacement I bought has a modification to the case. The plug is now surrounded by metal on 4 sides not just 3, so I think that's a huge improvement!
I ordered a replacement (took 5 weeks) and send mine in for repair (been like 7 weeks and counting). They said they were going to repair and send back. I'm hoping they actually replace it with the new case but not holding my breath. That will be a spare or go into another build eventually.
@MatthewHauer-ff2cr they would not give me a straight answer if it was being repaired or replaced. It seems like a good company, but customer service/ communications is lacking a bit. They don't want retailers handling any repairs or warranties either. Hopefully, the hassle doesn't deter retailers from supplying their products.
I have been flying 250ish gram 4" analogue quads for years at this point and its hard to get them under 250g with the 850mah 4S that I like to fly with. I am just getting into HDzero and might have to build the same style quad as a 6s to get the weight down and still fly how I need it to... But the idea you can't free style with this VTX is silly to me. I have been flying low powered analogue VTX's to free style with for years and they are a little bit of a limitation on range but it doesn't bother me a bit. it's just less walking when I crash.
Fly the sim, you don't need no HdZero I've got an HDZero VRX4, bought it last year, never opened the box. Just threw it on top of my pile of RC crrpp. Only used my DJI V1 goggles... once. That system cost $1000 total. What a waste.

We'll see. I have been waiting a month already for a repair

Looks like a solid option!

I would Love a freestyle VTX that is a Lot smaller... the 1 watt Fs vtx is just tooo big. 😃
Great to see this new V3 though.
Durability is a huge selling point
i went to hd zero after breaking 6 walksnail vtx
Me i went to walksnail after breaking 3 hdzero vtx😅
@@ludofevrier5593 ahh xD
@@mark6302 but i like always hdzero maybe i fly to hard with it 😅 due to the low latency
