What she's not showing is that Edina is so far away from anything that unless you can afford to snuggle in with the wealthy home owners all you have are the bubble environments created by these condo complexes. Yuck. Aside from that, siting costs or any stats from 2016 may as well be from 1980. Inflation is at criminal rates around the country so you can pretty much double any quotes here. Also, the outdoor spaces that are only usable for under 3 months a year are mostly spaces that have to be booked well in advance for use, otherwise you're competing for outdoor spaces with the entire complex. I did like your commentary better than most I've seen. I stumbled upon this movie as a horror fan but I did think it had a lot to say about mental illness. As a sufferer myself, this did seem like a huge allegory. I'm not sure about the hidden meaning of the ending though. I still think there's a little more to unpack. But a lot of what you said is true. There have been many times where when I showed my illness it threatened me in my career as well as personal relationships. That's why I do my best to keep it hidden. I also am on medication, and though I've been in therapy I never found myself able to be truly honest or vulnerable so it was mostly a complete waste if time. Same for romantic relationships. Several women have loved me but I was never able to connect enough to love them back. I always kept people at arms length. I don't trust very well. Friendships are much easier because the stakes are lower. I self-isolate a lot, not only because I don't have that many friends, but because it's just easier to be alone. I've watched several horror flicks this weekend and this was my favorite because I can relate.

I’m relocating to Minneapolis soon but this area is too expensive. I will be looking in maple grove! I’m in Texas and it’s too big and everyone is moving here and I need a smaller state and town. I need to be near everything.

Slight quick correction; her family didn't call the boss to the hospital, she was at the ER of the hospital she works at and he heard she was down there Also, interesting possibility to consider; I agree with your thoughts on her therapist wanting to do the actual work, but there's some theoretical reason to believe that that might not have been her therapist, and the only time she actually saw her for real was when the fiance called her, and that the entity knew that Risperdol might have actually supressed its power (the symbolism here being that sometimes a person does know what will help them but the opinions of others can easily take precedence while their own agency and decision making is put into question because of what they're suffering from).

Just watched the film a few days ago. While I was entertained, I don't think I agree with the overall message. I just love it when society keeps telling you to get help but when they actually do it backfires on them to the point where are basically a clown in someone's life. As a super misanthrope who suffered humiliation from people and discrimination from the government I would rather bottle everything up. We are still in the dark age of mental illness and things are certainly not improving. This is coming from someone who has been in therapy for 10 years and I has not worked at all...a big failure. And as a result I have looked up Thomas Szasz and Arthur Schopenhauer and I said screw it. Therapy and psychiatry is nonsense. I'm a depressed person and its ok. Its been almost 20 years I've been this way and I've accepted I'll be like this forever because it has allowed me to wake up and see the ugly side of humanity. I don't care if I'm a pessimist. You have to become one in order to see the real world.

Minneapolis will drain you of humanity. The Cities is a horrible place to hike and bike. They have many trails, but the climate is life threatening in the winter, and hot as hades in the summer, with bugs thick as smoke.

How has it been in Minneapolis the last 2 years or so. I read about the crime and shootings that occur. I’m looking to relocate and I had Austin, TX in mind, Minneapolis, MN, Reno, NV and a couple of other locations though I’m worried about what I’ve read about the crime going on in Minneapolis.
