Played pretty quick

This was Joey's happiest day of his life, playing with his childhood heroes. He knew all of the songs because he learned to play drums with their records and played in a Metallica tribute band before he got in Slipknot.

All that Lars hate is ridicilous. YES Dave is a better drummer for sure, but Metallica wouldn't exist in the first place if it wasn't for Lars. People keep whining about him on youtube, but it's not gonna make a difference. If he hasn't made an effort to improve by now, he is not going to. His drumming is what it is, so either accept it or move on to other bands.
