His tone is so crisp but not to much gain but sounds so rock n roll. And his rhythm parts are just off the charts amazing. Can’t give this guy enough credit. He’s the mastermind of AC/DC and a true rock n roll legend 🤘🏼

After listening to his isolated tracks I can understand why they were embraced by the Punk Rock community in the late 70’s. Malcolm was f*#king punk rock!!

It's very easy to listen to "Fire Your Guns" and imagine it as a punk song.

Absolutely. I mean, just listen to songs like Problem Child, Let There be Rock and, especially, Rocker. I still don't understand how they were able to play that one so fast in the studio, probably one of the few songs they slowed down live.

Malcolm was the machine. Powerhouse. He showed every wannabe rock star in their parents basement what mattered.

isolated tracks teach you how hard it can be song after song to maintain any beat or rythum! some of these guys that are not in the spotlight really put up a fight.....

You can hear the precision and skill of The Late Malcolm Young’s perfect playing, and considering he played clean, he got some sweet classic rock tones out of that iconic Gretsch of his.
R.I.P. Malcolm Young - greatest rhythm guitarist ever.

Malcolm made AC/DC songs a lot more filled and gave that sense of Rock and Roll inside their Metal/Hard Rock Music. Many Metal music makes Rhythm guitarists do the same riff as the lead, and once the lead starts doing a solo, the rhythm guitarist does the same riff. Whilst Malcolm, he gives a sense of rhythm and adds a lot more depth to the songs he plays rhythm for.
