    So sad no one came to their gig. I think they'll make it if they keep trying. That guitar player needs to put on a schoolboy uniform and move around more and entertain the crowd. At least that's what I would do.

      Hell, if nothing else works, the tiny guitarist may as well try doing a funny Chuck Berry duck walk and then maybe twirl around on the floor like he’s swallowed jet fuel. What’ve they got to lose. They’ve obviously invested too much in gear to stop now.

    The most hard working band in the world

    • @jackmomma7481
      @jackmomma7481 2 года назад +4

      I don't know about that... them being the hardest working band. After Razors Edge in 1991, they took MANY extended breaks, the longest one running from 2000 to 2008. Part of me thinks that after Razors Edge, developing good and usable material was probably becoming more and more difficult to come up with. In fact, I think that can be traced as far back as 1983 when Flick Of The Switch was made and how Angus and Malcolm started trying their hands at producing,
      You can tell a very big difference in those albums made from 1983 up until The Razors Edge. Don't get me wrong, I do love those albums. But it's evident that they exhausted their very best material on Let There Be Rock, Powerage, Highway To Hell, Back In Black, and For Those About To Rock. Mutt Lange simply came in at the right time when they were laying all that stuff down. I think it was all good timing and luck in his favor, an not some kind of special powers that he had that made the albums eht they are with his name on them. But everyone hails him as the reason they're so good. George Young could have been just as effective and cost much less
      rs Edge was much to a corporate commercial

      I mean in terms of who did it best, loudest, most albums, most powerful raw performances, best fans, album sales, one of the greatest guitar players ever, two of the best frontmen ever, crazy story, paid their dues, and in 2020put out a new album that held number 1 on the charts for months..... Yea I'd say by those terms and standards NOBODY has ever even came close to ACDC. There are other great bands yes. But this band is the epitome of Rock N Roll. Period. I love the Stones, but they are more of the old school old school rock. To me that's not rock n roll. To me it was too fresh to be as good as Rock eventually became. It was awesome don't get me wrong. I love many bands and artists from that time. But ACDC took all of that and put it toward what would become the most authentic powerful sound in Rock N Roll... No bs. Just Rock N Roll. They never altered. They never failed. They never once let us down. That's the most Rock N Roll story anyone could ever tell ✌🖤🤘🌹

      I read in a book about how to get your own guitar "sound", and I believe I heard also, maybe, in an Angus interview that AC/DC didn't use any pedals or such. The book showed examples of how other Super Star guitarists had their pedals setup... some had many pedals and other junk laid out on boards... and then the book had an entry for AC/DC that said just: "None." Wow, that's a whole lit of amp speakers back there. First time I saw that many speakers on a stage was about 1980 at a Ted Nugent concert. I was standing three rows back in front of the stage. Needless to say I couldn't hear anything for two days straight. No wonder they don't all have hearing loss. Maybe they wear some kind of in-ear protection, i don't know. But even if they do the sound must still be deafening.

      Those Marshalls are dummy cabs, they don't have drivers in them. They are there for look only.

      @@smallbrandproductions6906 with 99% of the bands you'd be correct, but this time you're not. All those cabs on that stage are loaded and working and I can assure you it is way too fricken loud for most people.

    No, the speaker cabs are NOT fake or just for show - they are all REAL and ON. Angus does not use in-ear monitors and is constantly moving, so he needs complete coverage. The band's amp tech explains this in Rig Rundown: ruclips.net/video/j5C7GKGxICg/видео.html

      I've played on large stages and move as much as he does. That's why we have monitors facing all directions. Why would a guitar player need that many cabs. It's all show and go. Notice I didn't say no go. ACDC IS AWESOME but all that gear is bullshit. Was relevant in the 70s and 80s but no longer. Some bands just like the old way and will never change the way they do shit. And yes, I know what I'm talking about. Many performers are getting rid of four trucks full of shit to do a concert. Shit ton cheaper.

      @@FrothingFanboy You are so right. Then there are others like me that are old, tired of hauling a bunch of unnecessary shit around like I used to just to create the mystique of the 70s and 80s. I do a fairly large job with a fender 25 watt frontman that I've had for years through a cheap pedal board. My entire rig. To this this day I've never had anyone approach me and tell me I sound like shit. I've had many pro musicians ask me how I get my sound. Years of messing around with different equipment trying to make it about the music and not the image. My tube amps sit in a warehouse as I no longer use them as I believe they have nothing to do with your sound if you know how to use your equipment. It's just my opinion but I've been playing just as long as Angus. About the same age and can still cover the stage better than anyone I know.

      I find that difficult to believe. That amp arrangement must be to show off and he said that to keep the legend alive but anyone who ever stood in front of a Marshall at full throttle knows it's hardly bearable and MAINLY damaging, LET ALONE 15/18 OF THEM. You'd be deaf within 5 years if not less.

      Here's another good interview with the amp tech: www.ultimate-guitar.com/news/interviews/guitar_tech_trace_foster_discusses_40_year_career_working_with_angus_young_joe_perry_and_more.html
      "People don't understand that, for example, if it's cold out, sound does not travel. It will travel about three feet in front of the speaker and just die. When you have a guy who doesn't wear in-ear monitors and he relies upon sustain, well now that's a huge problem because you can't give him that thing he needs and you're struggling. ... I have to be able to sustain a note at certain spots on that stage and it takes all 12 of those amps to make that happen. There are no if ands or buts and there are zero excuses to not make that happen."
