    If you get the chance, and have the right vehicle, try Scotts Point, west coast. Can be a bit scary. I used to paddle out and spearfish or fly fish out there. It''s a bit jurassic. I don't mind mentioning it, access and fishing is tough, unlikely to get hammered.

    Hello sir, I am a beginner. Can I ask you a question? Can you tell me how to choose the right jighead weight?

    • @NomadicKayakFishing
      @NomadicKayakFishing 9 дней назад

      Hey mate, of course. Jighead weight depend on four factors. Water depth Water current/drift speed Lure size and buoyancy. In an ideal world you'll select the lightest jighead that still allows you to get to the bottom. In deeper water and or stronger current you'll need a heavier jighead and in shallower Water or where the drift speed is less you'll need a lighter jighead. For myself if I'm fishing in less than 15m of water with minimal current I use a 1/2 Oz jighead. Then go up in weight as waterdepth/current increases. I always go as light as possible, as the longer the lure is suspended in the water collum whilst sinking the more the fish seem to want it. Hope that helps mate
