      thanks man. i cant help but remember the time your pedal drive broke... worst nightmare

      @@NomadicKayakFishing that day fortunately was calm so i was able tpaddle back(took ages though). one time i almost had a bad mishap when the wind picked up and my pedal drive got tangled with my paddle lease. fortunately i was able to untangle it. but the ride back took me about 1 hr no thanks to the wind n swell

    Also...... Start with paddling smaller distances. To get kayak fit. Suggest when learning, go out with others

    👍 Yes, absolutely be safe.
    Months on, I'm still getting over a seven gill shark .It was about 3 meters long
    Circling me on my yak for about 30 minutes bumping into me a few times.
    I couldn't stop shaking.
    Wasn't prepared for this visitor.
    Still not sure how to deal with an inquisitive shark that size.

      Oh jeez that's not ideal😅 seven gills aren't very aggressive they're more just curious and dumb. Bump on the nose with the paddle usually helps out🤣 its the makos and white pointers you gotta watch out for. Stay safe out there and tight lines!
