    Ehh ma bro..that was quite the kingy aye lol.
    I was raised in Gisborne, dad always had us out trolling for yellow fin or albacore etc, or way out deep fishing.
    That nostalgic feeling came hard when I went home last time.
    Happy days and some sweet as snapper.
    Have an amazing weekend.

    Hello sir, I am a beginner. Can I ask you a question? Can you tell me how to choose the right jighead weight?

    • @NomadicKayakFishing
      @NomadicKayakFishing  3 месяца назад +2

      Hey mate, of course. Jighead weight depend on four factors.
      Water depth
      Water current/drift speed
      Lure size and buoyancy.
      In an ideal world you'll select the lightest jighead that still allows you to get to the bottom. In deeper water and or stronger current you'll need a heavier jighead and in shallower Water or where the drift speed is less you'll need a lighter jighead.
      For myself if I'm fishing in less than 15m of water with minimal current I use a 1/2 Oz jighead. Then go up in weight as waterdepth/current increases.
      I always go as light as possible, as the longer the lure is suspended in the water collum whilst sinking the more the fish seem to want it.
      Hope that helps mate
